My little border collie gets distracted and tries to chew the sofa and me when i try to train her. Is it a problem with when I try to train her? I make sure she's gone to the loo and that shes hungry so she wants the treats but shes so easily distracted. She is 9 weeks old and i brought her home 4 days ago.

My dog absolutely loves this game I made, and tires him out all night.(personally I don't super love this game because it takes a lot of exercise out of me too lol) take a rope toy or a large toy they can grip onto easily, and lift it up so they have to jump for it. Then make them sit/stay for it ect. Move around a lot as well, when they do catch it play a hefty game of tug a war with them and repeat! I was very frustrated with my dog because he wasn't food motivated, but now, learning he's toy motivated. (and has a sensitive stomach, so alot of treats aren't good for him) he knows quite a few tricks now! at first he could only jump around my mid height, but now he can reach over my head! (I'm around five foot three) this game helped me so much and I hope it can help others 🙂 feel free to tell me if it works, id love to know!

I get tired with all the running, tugging walking for half hour but my puppy doesn't tire or self-settle in the crate for 3 hours …doesn't go in the crate unless he's asleep
We just found out our cats' red laser pointer is AMAZING for our new doxie puppy!!! He just runs & runs chasing it, even more than the cats. Yes, missing the relationship piece, but this is just one component of our overall play regimen. And literally thank You God for this discovery, 'cuz we're exhausted lol 😂

I wish this worked with my chiweenie puppy but I swear she is permanently on speed🤦🏻♀️ she literally sleeps for like 20 mins then wide open all day until she does the speed nap again….. It drives us all crazy, we love her but sleep would be nice again🙏🥱
She's 13 weeks old now, I plan on getting her fixed when she's old enough and maybe that will help, I hope….
