I’ve had my hands on the Steam Deck OLED for the past week and want to talk about how it compares to the original. Is OLED …

The white about to come out is nice but I kinda regret not getting this dark transparent LE OLED
why are you advertising vendors that arent valvle the only legit way to get a steam deck is from steam anywhere else is resellers that scam people not knowing what they are buying
I’m mainly in the market for one of these to play exclusive games and indies that wouldn’t be found on console, like a switch for example. The best option would be to go big or go home, but that $800 price has got me sweating a little bit (OLED)
got firstly the ROG ally z1 extreme and couldn't play a single game from my library, then bought the steam deck OLED, man this trackpad is a game changer for guys who like fps games like me, yes the ROG ally is somehow better in performance "when plugged in" but I'd swap that for the trackpad in a heartbeat lol
Video needs timestamps.
Horror games are a must with this display, there's no question. Perfect black levels.
I come here to see your comparison, but why are you trying to sell one for 3x the cost of the steam website?
the battery upgrade is what sold it for me. the original steam deck was good but for me i found it barely held a charge when in sleep mode and died after like an hour playing most switch games.
With the 512gb LCD model 25% off right now, I don’t think I can justify the OLED model for $200+ more…I’m gonna go for the LCD, I can play on my pc or connect to my tv if I want the best graphics
Guys, the 512GB OLED you think has a "handicap"?
Is it worth ?
Also can external memory be used??
List of games in this video? Ty
I just want to know one thing: is Kevin always cold? I only see him wearing a snowcap.
you hate your self tim fake cast
take the hat off
In latam, importers sale the SD Oled for 750 bucks for the 512GB and 850 bucks for the 1TB 😢
My steam deck just broke and told me I’d have to pay around 200 to fix it. Think I should upgrade?
I want to get a Steam Deck in the future. But I don't have so much money and everything is so expensive here in Sweden.
But if I get a Steam Deck I will buy LCD.
just got one. what shocked me was how much i noticed the weight difference
Lmao I’m still using the 64 gb one 🤣🤣🤣
Kinda regretting that I bought the LCD on Saturday because I didn't know the OLED was a thing. I'm more of a console gamer though, this is just to play while I'm on planes or in hotels.
Pro:
-pretty OLED uwuwu
0.4 inch bigger screen …………………….
Con:
-You will play while plugged anyways 90% of the time.
-90% games will be under 60 fps anyways, have fun with 90hz menu scrolling
-150$ more expensive.
One feature of the oled for tv is that bluetooth controllers can wake it remotely the normal steam deck cannot do that
Couldnt you just add a new screen and battery into the LDC model and make it the same as the OLED version and get the same or similar benefits?
Worth the upgrade 👍🏼
Is it worth trading the meta quest 3 for the steam deck lcd
BTW… if you use a matte/anti-glare screen protector on your phone or a Paperlike screen protector on your iPad, you won't care about the 1TB anti-glare Steam Deck OLED
5:41 What feature is thiiiis???? 😮
Repetitive rambling but informative.
Also, it is ‘by any means’ not ‘by any means necessary’ at 7:20min brother… 😉
This might sound kinda dumb but should i get the lcd version since i play my pc alot more than my consoles that i have right now? I might play the steam deck when I'm on break from work or at a friend's house
I cant justify spending over 500 on a handheld. 3-4 Seems about right. I have a 512gb lcd on the way right now and i think im ok with it.
Yeah I was going to get the 64 g model . But by the time I buy an ssd and screen protector. I may as well just spend the extra $100 and get the 512gb model
That change with the Switch lcd to oled was a big game changer. but also because switch graphics suck and the color enhancement kind of makes you a bit blind to it. lol to me at least.
here now because there's currently a 15% sale for LCD models
