Happy Training!
My 4 month old puppy has never really loved snuggle time and she always wants to bite and be wild instead. All the while I’m doing the training to stop biting and to work on settling the entire time. I’ve done the training and the play and the settle lessons but she is just too dang hyper. I’m not sure what to do except to continue to train and hope some day she will calm enough to want to snuggle. She does not seem to have an off switch very often 🥺
I've watched so many of Kayl's videos over the last few weeks in preparation for bringing my new puppy home yesterday so I thought I knew what to expect. Boy oh boy did I get the complete opposite kind of puppy. My little 8 week old corgi just does not want to do anything but hide. She won't play with toys or follow food. She loves her food but if it moves away from her she won't follow. She hates her collar and the house line and the grass. I'm hoping this is just adjustment to her new life and we can start putting all of these tips into practice very soon.
Thanks so much my German shepherd cried so much and I’ve had her for a day but this video made sure I knew that there was a point to letting him cry it out……this series is my life line and the reason I know I can do this 😊
Thank you for the amazing videos 😊
Is there a video showing how to transfer a dog from the first crate, to a bigger one (probably different shape and size)when they grow up!?
Love your videos! Just welcomed a doodle into our family, and with your video we had a fantastic first night!
I cracked up! Some of you…may not be able to hear me! 🤣
Thank you for this video great information
What are the 12 rules dog?
How would you manage a puppies daily activity while working all day. I do work from home, but curious to know how much time should be spent in crate, allow her to be around desk while working/taking calls? I bring her home on a Saturday. Do you recommend a couple/few days off to focus on settling the puppy in to their new home? Thanks!
This is the video I make every person who gets a puppy watch. So much amazing information packed into such a well thought out and explained video. Great job!!
Why do you put water in food? And how much water is too much in food? Do you mush the food with water ro mix it?
Hi ! What size is that red and white crate exactly ? Thanks !
Excellent tips guys. Thank you so much.
I just brought my new rescue puppy home today. They think he is a chiweenie. He is very small. I am trying to follow your training videos. They are very helpful. I would like to know what kind of treats you are giving your dogs for training?
What do you guys think about the puppy heartbeat toys?
How could i make raising my puppy a bit more apartment friendly? (I cNt really let her cry it out)
Hold old is she?
Wow, I'm so glad you've done the part 2 for this! Thank you! (I couldn't wait to see how that first night went…)
Well I still wouldn't do the crate thing if the puppy comes from a rescue shelter and maybe has been kept locked up …..
LOVE these videos with Kayl McCann- love her voice and her positivity! Brought a new puppy home yesterday and feeling overwhelmed– these training tips have been very helpful!
I have a question I'm not able to get down in the floor from a disability do you have any suggestions on how i could train my puppy without being in the floor?
How long should the house line be for the new puppy?
Loving this series. Thanks.
We’re getting a puppy soon and I’ve been watching so many of your videos! I do have a question I’m hoping you can help me with. Our puppy will grow to be 70-90lbs. We would like to get a large crate for our living area for him to be during the day where we’re away but would also like for him to sleep in our room at night. Should we get a second crate for the bedroom? Maybe a smaller crate for the bedroom? I’m just not sure what the best option is. Crates can get expensive especially the larger ones.
Thanks for this great couple of episodes! Super useful. You couldn't have presented the information any clearer. I've had dogs pretty much my whole life but while my dogs were always much cherished family members, they weren't well trained. I'm getting a new pup in the coming days/ weeks and I hope to correct previous mistakes. This guide has been incredibly useful.
The line my puppy bites on it constantly.
When do you feel take the line off in the house?
And feeding in the kennel makes her likes it she going in there on her own after 4 days of being in the house great deal thanks
What if your puppy isn't fully vaxed? Do we need to limit their roaming around the house?
Thanks!
What kind of dog is this? I'm getting a mixed puppy that looks very much like this one but they couldn't tell me the breed. I love your videos, very helpful…thank you 😊
my golden doodle 8 week old puppy is not food motivated. What else can I do?
I’m getting my puppy in 9 days and I’m so excited/nervous that I’ll do everything wrong
