Ive had 3 goldens , never used a crate , just a safe gated place in kitchen , a nice cosy bed there and kong toys , they have all been perfect

I’ve been watching your videos over the last couple months and taking notes. I’m getting a Golden in 2 1/2 weeks and I want to be prepared. I train horses, but I’ve not really trained a pup/dog before so this will be a new experience/challenge for me.

I took a 1 1/2 yo golden on as a favor for a woman who was dying of brain cancer & her husband, who had fallen & damaged his ribs & has balance issues. The dog is sooo rowdy & disruptive. She's also so loving, intuitive & sweet. She's chewed 3 pairs of shoes, shreds & chews anything she can get hold of including shoe's, printer cartridges, pens, paper towels, etc & the crate & dog bed itself. Im at wits end with concern re what she might be swallowing, the house a mess & im running out of shoes. Is there anything i can do to get this under control or should i just let her go? Any help/ support would be appreciated

I need to find a good trainer for my golden retriever, I live near Ft Worth TX. She is 9 weeks old, or should I wait a bit for training. I am doing some create training and potting training on a pad.
What do you guys suggest is better for a pup, a harness or a collar? I have a smaller dog that we use a harness for but I'm just curious on which might be a better option for a goldie. I'm getting one soon and I'm so excited because I have wanted one since I watched Homeward bound when I was 8 lol

It's upsetting to hear that you'd scold a puppy for a mistake you made, she's a puppy and is learning where to go to the toilet. If she has an accident, that's YOUR mistake and your responsibility to be keeping an eye on her. Scolding just teaches them to do their toilets in corners or out of sight.
We trained our red golden (Stuart) at your facility 14 years ago. He’s since passed and we now live in Georgia, USA. We have another golden (two in fact, a 1 y/o English cream and an 8 week old red). I couldn’t believe when I looked up tips and saw your logo. We had a great experience training our old boy. Sadly we can’t do it again but thanks for the tips!
