Everyone who experienced UFOs/human&non-human extra terrestrials knows they are real. Hundreds of thousands of people from all around the world for many centuries experienced these crafts and beings.

These hearings feel like a distraction technique. To make the public feel like something is being done, whilst nothing is actually, being done. I think it's cute if the hearings are real though. For Congress to believe they'll actually find out and if they do find out if they believe they'll actually, be allowed to tell the public. Much of the public aren't ready to hear the truth. Imagine how religious people would feel to find out there are other beings out there, many don't even believe the world is over 6000 years old. To find out the Pope knew. To know that these "angels" from above could have been aliens. For the general public to know 100% that governments, globally, have been lying so systematically for over 100 years. To find out that whilst our elderly sit freezing in their homes they've had energy solutions. They'll never let it be known, they can't, the lies go too deep. It won't be known until someone accepts prison time to release all the info illegally to the public. And then, riots break out.
Take the money away from the industrial complex and watch how fast they come to the table with the truth. Watch how fast they start marketing their products for better society, but they will try to market it because they will need money. This much further than building oversight to figure out what they’re doing.
You talk about a waste of taxpayers money.
