So. I have to look up what a puppy mill is. But it sounds strange. Like animals that work a mill?? Can't be, right?? Maybe I don't know what it is, cos English is my second language.
I think, I'm gonna be furious when I find out. This little doggo had no clue what to do… running into a cage instead of towards food and toys and pets😢
being confused when giving birth is always kinda funny with animals, when i was about 4 we had a cat who got pregnant twice, I don't remember the first litter but apparently in her first one she went by our dad who she didn't like and was so confused, absolutely freaking out, when her first baby came out she hissed at it before realizing what was happening 😭
so glad she got a happy ending, too many animals are mistreated
Hazel is so, so beautiful and her little puppies are just gorgeous, too! We recently adopted a 6 year old blue and tan dapple mini dachshund and she is the apple of my eye, I just adore her! I'm so glad Hazel and her puppies had you to show them human kindness and love, what a difference you made for all of them! 🙂
National Mill Dog Rescue in Peyton, CO has been saving puppy mill survivors for years. We were blessed to adopt six survivors from them, two of them were Doxie mamas. Wish they could go out of business but people still buy from disreputable breeders on and off the internet. Adopt! Spay and neuter and love.

This made me cry. I have a mini dachshund and she's gone through so many toys. It makes me feel sad that some of these female dachshunds have only known a life to breed babies and not a life of their own. I hope she was spayed after and that she and her babies are living an awesome life.
I miss my long hair dachshund and short hair dachshund my long haired dachshund had beautiful color black and red she was 15 years old when she passed away she passed away in her sleep it was terrible for me to wake up to that but at the same I was glad she went to heaven peacefully but my short haired dachshund my dad rescued from a not a nice father when he was 4 years old it was his daughters dog the father said to my dad if u don't take the dog he was going to put it in a kill shelter and wasn't going to tell his daughter so he threw junior in my dads truck like the dog was nothing after having the dog for four years because he liked big dogs my dad is no longer with my family he passed away but when he looked at junior he said looks like ur coming home with me buddy and he was with us till he was 13 years old junior got cancer he was only suppose to live for 3 months but he lived an extra 3 months that was tuff for my family and me since my dad rescued him and brought junior into our family
