The iQOO 13, introduced in China in October, will begin its international rollout soon, with the India debut set for December 3. The iQOO 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chip and sports a trio of 50MP cameras on the rear.
The iQOO 13’s 50MP primary camera uses the Sony IMX921 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture. It has OIS and EIS and can record 1080p and 4K videos at up to 60fps and 8K videos at 30fps. The 50MP telephoto unit uses the Sony IMX816 sensor. It, too, has OIS and comes with 2x optical zoom. The 50MP ultrawide camera employs Samsung’s S5KJN1SQ03 sensor.
iQOO invited us to a special media briefing in Dubai, UAE, last week, where we got our hands on the iQOO 13 and took quick photos and videos. We are sharing them below so you can pixel-peep them yourselves. You can also use our Compare tool on the website’s desktop version to compare two photos.

Daylight Photos
Let’s check the daylight photos first, clicked with the 50MP primary camera in the default Photo mode, having an output of 12.6MP. These are followed by the pictures taken with the same camera in High-Resolution mode.

Now, we have some pictures taken in Portrait Mode, supporting four focal lengths – 24mm (1x), 35mm (1.5x), 50mm (2x), and 100mm (4x).

Next, we have a couple of pictures clicked with the iQOO 13’s Snapshot feature, which is meant for capturing moving objects. We used it to click the BMW M Motorsport cars going at over 200 km/hr on the Dubai Autodrome racetrack. The author of this article himself reached a top speed of 229 km/hr driving a BMW M4 Competition.

Low-light Photos
Let’s take a look at some low-light photos now. We first have the pictures clicked with the primary camera in default Photo mode and then in the High-Resolution mode.

And that’s pretty much it. We’ll give you a verdict on the iQOO 13’s camera quality after we’ve completed our usual tests, but feel free to tell us what you think about the photos clicked with the iQOO 13 in the comments below.
