The one thing that is different in this game is that you not only have the past/present storylines, you have a whole other storyline with the gods for some reason.

The most honest trailer for Valhalla starts with a 20 minute long load screen… I could forgive all the other faults of the game (because it is kind of fun) but those god awful wait times just drive you crazy, turning it from a 50 hour game into 100+ in the worst way possible!

Well, the arab guy makes some sense. The real life order of assassins was Arab. The word assassins comes from them, not reversed. The assassins of assassin's creed are (if I remember correctly) loosely based on this order. Makes more sense if you realise that an islamic order (assassins) is at war with a Catholic order (templars). The assassins in real history had fortresses in the middle of nowhere, and it's not super unrealistic. Vikings had contact with Arabia and the rest of the Islamic world. One route was to Spain, through the Atlantic (Spain was islamic) and the other routes all went through Russia's Rivers, where the vikings went to gather Slaves from the Slavic people (and yes, that's why Slavs are named slavs) and then sell them to Arab merchants.
