So, what's something you wish you knew when you adopted a cat? 🐈
I adopted two cats the firs thing they did was explore the entire house and open the door to the bathroom idk how 3month old cats do that
umm, actually, my cat can tell time lol… i tried telling him he doesn't know if it's exactly feeding time or not, and he didn't believe me xD
Ok, one thing I wanted to say is I really couldn’t keep my cats separated- they’re litter mates and if I separated them, it would be so much worse, but I am going to keep my cats away from the dogs🥲
What if the pet to separate is a dog and some budgies!
I wish I could get one cam you get one for me please
I just rehomed the cat today shes a senior and her nails are extra long
My cat at like 4 months vaulted off my computer and landed on the curtains.
My son and his family adopted 2 11 week old kittens. when they got them home they put them in 2 different bathroom, glad they did after a few days the male had severe diarhhea. He had to take him to urgent care because it was the weekend. that cost him $400.00 They gave him medication and a few days later he took him to the vet with a stool sample to find out he has Giardia. After almost a $1000.00 out of his pocket he called the humane society to find out that they knew he was sick and didn't tell my son. He asked them to help him with the vet bill and they said he signed a paper that they are not responsible. But since they didn't disclose to him that the cat had Giardia should they be responsible for the vet bills. He loves his kitten and would never give him back because he is so lovable, good, sweet. By the way he adopted from the humane society.Do you have any suggestions.
6:47 I know it’s just for sure, but what is she cleaning out of that litter box? 😳😅
My parent finally allowed me to adopt a cat but in a while
Oug is adorable
I found her in the garbage. Someone threw her in a bag with her mama and 2 brother. Mama and 2 brothers of her got a good home and she's here with me at my home, destroying my indor plants and working as a alarm at 6:00 am
Lasers are not a good idea as they can't touch the object they're chasing…
Purring Journal, what to do when you leave your cat at home for long periods of time and they start getting aggravated?
I just got a rescue cat 4 days ago I tried keeping her and my dog separate but she fells more comfortably with him around
pls
can somone help me i adopted 2 kitens and now they are only hiding not eating and pooping on flor its there first day is it normal i have sand for them to poop in pls help me
My ladys cat doent behave. But i love her. Help me
Not spending money on toys for cats is so true. My dad always gave them shoe boxes, paper, and string. We had a cardboard colliseum we called the “kitten thunder dome” and we’d put them in there and they’d go nuts playing with each other haha
cats are very territorial. if not planned very well, they will only be stressed out by having another cat around. not great advice
This makes me so excited despite me having zero plans to even get another cat ❤😂😊
Stop trimming the cat's claws, it's not benefical in a long term. Teach them to use the scratching tree!
I bought a cat home
Put it down on the floor zoom it took off.
I found it under a bed. It stayed there a long time
On morning i woke up and ink, thats what i named him, was asleep in bed with me. Kinda cool
i adopted a 2-year-old cat because their last owner was not able to make her bond to their first cat …she more of a wallflower cat and she very affectionate she a tortie so now she the center of attention in my home.
We have had many cats over the years but the last one we adopted is a male Maine Coon cross. He had been returned twice to the shelter and was not in a good state of mind. The ladies at the shelter thought he might not be adoptable as he was cringing in the farthest corner of his cage. I sat in front of his cage with my hand flat on the bottom of his cage. Eventually he came out and sniffed my hand. That was all I needed and brought him home. We left him alone and he hid for the first week but now, 4yrs later he is VERY happy kitty with lots of caves to hide in if he is inclined. He has changed a lot and will come and get one of us if he wants some attention. He is such a happy boy now and has the run of an old 3 floor house and backyard which he stays in. Definitely a mommas buy. We love him to bits and he knows that. Spends a lot of his time on his heated bed purring. Life is good and he is probably the best behaved cat we have ever seen. Such a delight.
Free is all I çàn be afford
My last cat used to come to work with me. I did live on site, and we just spent the time together. She went to work with another Gardener, when I was driving the tractor, or mowing the lawns, and I didn't like the gifts she would bring me much.
Clean water in a polished stainless bowl. Mine gave up dry dirt to use the toilet. A flea comb means no hair balls. She loves leftovers.
In the late 70’s and early 80’s. My family adopted 2 cats from being strays. First one during the summer of 1979. He was a sweet and friendly red tabby cat. He suckered my mother in adopted him into our home. 2nd cat came around late September 1981. I became his best friend when he was a stray. It took a month and a half to adopted him in. He was also a red tabby cat, too. He was my fault because I gave him the loved and even the attention . He was so sweet and friendly cat. He even became friends with the 1st cat. They instantly bonded. The 2nd cat was more than my cat for a little bit over 12 years. He did spread the love. My mother fell in loved with the 2nd cat because he was a big sweetie. They were both smart to find a good home. They were both indoor and outdoor cats. One cat did wonder around the neighborhood and the other cat stayed in the yard. I was lucky to had them both while I was a kid, teens, and in my 20’s to had them. The 1st cat lived with my parents almost 18 years. He was very good cat. He was a buddy towards me. He did loved me in his old age by heading bumping towards my nose and chin while I was cuddling with him. I do missed them both.
Im an 9 year old kid and i got my cat yesterday, Thank you for this vid
I just adopted two kittens from the shelter there are very loving and affectionate they aren't afraid of anyone my problem is I have a loft and it's high and I can't really block it off they are very fascinated with the loft and when I take them out of their room it's the first thing that they head for. I have only had the kittens for less than a week, and I try to slowly introduce them to the rest of the house I have plenty of toys clean kitty litter plenty of food plenty of toys. How do I discourage them for going on the loft
😺🐾🐾 🐾🐾😺 good afternoon all 😺 I just adopt Blakely it was harder to adopt animals then renting with all the questions Sometime time you can't keep the animals Blakely was put in the dining room with food and box he had nothing to do with wanted out needed to use the big brother box so I let him out 🐾😺 been neutered already so funny to see him with his cone on 😺🐾🐾
When we brought in a new cat and introduced our new cat to our old cat they didn't get a long at first but we were there to stop them from fighting. After a couple of days they got a long just fine. We had a male and she was female. The male was the older cat and the female was the one we got from outside. We don't have any cats at the moment but we are bringing in one today. In a couple of house I will have our new fur baby a female cat. We are going to get that vet appointment today. I hope to get it done sooner then later for sure. Two weeks is too long.
i have a Persian female we adopted her when she was 2 months and now she is already 1 year old, then I decided to adopt another cat (British short hair) she is 10 months old, in her 1st her first week I caged her to relax her body and now I decided to un cage her so she can roam and settled in. However, she kept on hissing if I tried to pet her, so i leave her and did not to scare her. But she constantly eats and uses her litter box, maybe I just need more time before we can pet her and play with her. Is this normal for them to always be in one corner the whole day?
I do not have a cat but an researching the care and responsibilities involved. Do all cats require their nails to be trimmed? Just the thought of it makes me nervous. Thanks!
Um, trimming a cat's nails will absolutely not keep them from scratching the furniture… if anything, they'll feel like something is wrong with their nails and want to sharpen them more. It may blunt their claws briefly, but it won't alter their behavior.
So I got a tortoishell female and she's 9 weeks and I just tamed her
