How did I ever manage to get through this without figuring out the trick? All I did was follow video game logic of “this looks more like a path I should take” and run away from the one time the fog tried to consume me. It was so stressful. And it made me fear the lost woods so much more than I need to. Still don’t want to go back to that island, since I’ve been informed that the whole outer area is that way and I don’t like mazes where you can’t even see the walls.
This was extremely helpful, I do not yet have thirteen hearts, but is it possible to the master sword without thirteen hearts?
Hopefully this works or I'm going to have a Lost Time and a Bad Time with this.

I just figured out the trick to the lost woods. If you light the torch they give you and stand still, the embers from the torch will blow in a certain direction. Just Follow the Embers from your torch.
