This game does "NOT" impress. Ive played all Diablo games, this is the worst by far. Nothing in the series will ever bring back the win of D2 LoD. This game is boring af, lame, repetitive and the paragon system sucks and no lobby chatting, no nothing.
In terms of fun its a 1 star game. Period!
To be honest, I stopped playing after season 1. This is absolutely the laziest addition you could add to a game. Enter a room, mobs spawn, get good loot. How absolutely boring is this? Repetition of doing the same stuff over and over!? Atleast with helltides you had to run around and find certain chests. This is a joke man.

I can't make anymore excuses for this games dogshit seasonal updates. I keep telling myself time after time that eventually this game is going to get good and actually be worth playing but time and time again we're slapped in the face by Blizzards dong and told to enjoy what we get. RIP Diablo, you'll be missed.
I know Diablo 4 has it's vocal detractors, but I for one really enjoy this game. I love the artwork, context, music, the sad and macabre feel, and much more. Yes, it is a work in progress, but isn't every game? I am excited about the future of its development.
I _ REALLY _ don't understand how people say "it's fast, too fast" when I just can NOT finish a season because I get bored …. almost instantly. D4 absolutely failed.

It’s fine. I’m a casual 40 hr a week mid thirties guy and I enjoyed playing this past weekend as a sorc. I have yet to do infernal hordes etc. it’s sort of always just the same tbh. This game. Every season. At least season 4 was pretty new in its tempering system. I think they’re really putting their ammo into the expansion. So idk if I’ll play this game much beyond the lvl 55 sorc I made over the weekend
I paused D4 in S4, got a bit bored, and played Hollowknight this summer that had been on my backlog for a long time. Amazing game!
I might return to D4 but for now I think it will be another metroidvania for me first.
Season 2 is the only season that felt like a seasonal mechanic. All the others are just updates to the game. I feel cheated. They keep nerfing everything, a year in they still haven’t redone Druid. Paragon boards just don’t work together much. 1 lightning board is lame. Sorc has 2 and even that is lame. Every patch seems to break all kinds of crap and there’s tons of ninja changes to so many parts of the game it’s annoying. A year in they should’ve doubled the amount of mythic uniques and the worst part is they say you have a chance to drop them other places besides Uber bosses but I’ve never seen it. I hope the next year is much better or I can’t see it doing well with so much coming out.
World bosses still die in 20 seconds. Twice this season it died in no more than 5 seconds.
I like horde but it replaces every other mechanic besides lvling glyphs. Hordes are fun but they get boring
I played Season 2 and left. S5 looks good and was going to come back, but forcing players to buy expansions killed this game for me. F€$k Blizzard.
This combined with the faster leveling in general, had me leveling a new build to 100. It's so easy to bring a build online early, and that makes the leveling fun.
i haven't been on since season 2, is it worth coming back?
Infernal Horde gave me 98% of the XP needed to level from 99 to 100 at tier 4, somewhere around 22M XP.
The problem with small iterative improvements is I am long since bored of the game. 4 Season of doing the exact same grind with a bit tacked on at the end. I haven't even logged in for s5, there are much better games to play and try. I have jumped off this dopamine grind merry-go-round. So sad to see Blizzard sacrificed for this crap.
