As with any series I watch, I always "allow" them 5 whole minutes to show me what they got. If by the end of the 5 minutes there seems to be something interesting going on they get another 10 minutes to prove it. LOL Cheers 🙂
This is probably just going to be corporate espionage between Weyland and Yutani until the last episode where a xeno is revealed in a cliffhanger ending. Same formula following characters as well, as usual.

Hello, Alien Theory. I wonder if there any video about Alien space? I can't understand where all the planets are, how far from each other? Why the Covenant ship could got the signal from 4th planet? May it be that it's route was laid near by on purpose?

i would like to point out that when it comes to marvel, the tv shows so far have been way cooler than the movies lately, and have more meat on them bones, which is what fans crave, same might be said with star wars, the mandalorian was way more loved than episode 7 8 or 9 but then there was that jadi apprentice show, which had interesting premise, but spent way to much time explaining characters who were quickly killed and gone.
Can't we just forget Prometheus and Covenant already.

I don't know. How long can they keep "oh no there's a creature on the ship? what is it? Oh no look everyone except two people died" over and over again? I'd rather a Predator show or something with a bit of SG1 mixed in. I don't remember a alright alien movie a good alien movie since the third one. Prometheus was just Michael Fassbinder pretentiousness, the new one is ok-ish but that was mainly Android Andy carrying the movie. I don't know, I'm just not that excited. We've seen creature feature on space ship so many times. What could they possibly do that's new? This is probs one for the pleb super-fans. With this much fan-sweat and nostalgia weighing the franchise down, I don't have high hopes for the script.
I have a book it’s alien omnibus so it has a bunch of stories and eventually the aliens get to earth and the military is all that’s left and abandon earth for awhile then come back after bombing the shit out of it
At the begining I wasn't exited for this TV series at all. Aliens on Earth just doesn't look good i guess. Specially how bad the Aliens look running around the street like kids with out parents in Aliens Requiem. But after watching the trailer the director is showing love and respect for the source material in hands. So now I'm really excited. Just please don't want to see Alien coming down the sealing of Macy's or Bloomingdale's lol
I can see WY getting word on this crash site that has aliens on board and the marines or whatever decide to obliterate the show in order for them not to get their hands on the specimens which makes WY send the Nostromo and the crew to lv-426. If not and WY get their hands on them then every piece of alien media beyond alien earth is null and void

Disney has destroyed the franchise's of Star Wars & Marvel like it was their job. I really want to believe Disney will bypass the political propaganda & narrative route with Alien. Alien is a SciFi Horror action/adventure, lots of rich storytelling lore to pull from, I'll remain neutral and positive.

I hate the prequels and their impact on the Alien universe. They're not part of my head cannon, so of course, too much connection to them, is frustrating to me. Very much looking forward to Scott's retirement. He doesn't own Alien, but lords over it as if he did, and all his ideas since the first film have been abysmal.
Hope there is no romulus cringe but i assume there is. Gigers ideas for alien designs could be a good addition .
I was hoping it would be something along the lines of "the accounts of the earth war" where after the events of Alien 3 a Weyland Yutani ship drifts towards earth, gets intercepted by another company ship, they take it to earth and start to conduct experiments but the Xenomorphs get loose and run rampant across earth taking it by storm leading to mass evacs and earth getting nuked to oblivion. Weyland Yutani finally gets dismantled and mega corps are banned. But several hundred years later the events of Alien 4 take place and we get a final shot of the aftermath of what earth looks when our main characters escape the station and land on earth's surface where it looks like a complete ruin.
