Thanks for watching Dog Training Basics 10 Things You Should Teach A Puppy. In the comments below tell me what skills you've been working on teaching your puppy!
My puppy is aToy Poodle and we have been told he should not go outside to potty until he has his first 3 shots and his 1st rabies shot
Thank you so much for all your videos 💖 I have a question , one friend is buying a golden retriever puppy for her autistic child, how she can get a certification for her puppy so her child can be with him always?
Damn lady you talk too much. Just demonstrate already. Sheeshh😅
Ok but how do you get a 6year old maltipoo to just walk without constantly stopping to pee on everything. If we don’t encourage him to walk, he will just stay on our block and never really walk.
If we are generous with treats, and encouragement he will easily walk a few miles perfectly. But getting going is always tough
You could tone down the promotions for your paid subscriptions… One a video is enough.
The first thing that my puppy learned was to sit.
He was so wild coming out the crate until we had to get him calmed down first
So we started with sit
Thanks Michelle! My Aussalier puppy Jango and I have been following your videos and he has been doing so good thanks to your help!
Lou a Great Pyrenees 15 wks just demonstrated his first counter surfing! For a timid little guy I was very surprised that he was brave enough to climb up there! His snuffle mat was the main goal of his adventure. He is getting braver every day!
Thank you for another wonderful video!
Two more sleeps until my new baby comes home! Cant wait to see what kinda behaviours she offers early😁🥰
Potty pads was already a thing here cuz of my moms dog. She is potty pad trained. She is like 10yrs old but will potty outside if u take her. My pup took to the pads quickly but goes outside more now
Uhhhhhhh……..I actually don't use crates
Have been on a binge watching all your tips! Thank you for helping all pet owners.❤️ I have a 12 week old puppy and anytime I leave him I his play pen he cries and cries if I’m not in the room. Is that separation anxiety already? He just came to his new home Sunday. Please help ☹️
Great video. Thank you
I am getting a puppy this weekend and I am so glad I found this.
Found the channel, love the tips. Any ideas for helping my pup (9wk lab) at night? We stop food or water about 7, and she usually sleeps until about 10, after I take her out to potty she sleeps until about 3 and then whines to get out, I tried letting her cry to sleep but after an hour she didn't stop and turns out she peed in her crate.
Our puppy, 11 week old Ginger is a cavapoo. She has aced sit and loves her "house" crate. We started training on the "transport" crate yesterday…and found string cheese was just the right value treat to keep her engaged in that game. These videos are awesome!
Love your videos! Just signed up for the live and FREE puppy workshop webinar (starting in 3 hours) thanks so much really looking forward to it and so is our Rupert Pickle – our new puppy 🐶 see you soon x
I just got an 8 week old Rough Collie puppy last week, and I'm very proud to say that Meatloaf is very good about telling us he has to go potty outside! He's also very good at telling us when he see's a cat, or a deer, or a bug, or his own reflection lol. My last puppy was a yellow lab, and we had him for 14 years, so I haven't "raised" a puppy since I was 12. I'm very excited to work with him and watch him grow into a big fluffy boy! We're currently working on sit, leave it (being get your butt away from that), and crate. We never used a crate for our lab, but I think it's going ok? He likes to chew on his bone in the crate, and he naps there sometimes during the day, but at night he cries and whines like he's dying. I take him out every 2 – 2.5 hours to do business, but it seems like it's taking him longer and longer to settle every night 🙁 The crate really is JUST until he's old enough to hold his pee through the night though… Butters slept on my bed every night, and I plan to let Meatloaf do the same once I know he won't pee on my blankets or try to nibble my phone charger.
I have a 12 week old GSD puppy right now. We have been doing puppy preschool classes which helps a lot. I work with him constantly at home and know I have a good foundation coming along. I am nervous on picking which training step to take. The preschool recommended private lessons. My family member has had success like this. Will I be able to get the same out of your puppy program with just zoom?
