I really don't understand why people are hating on Chris Pratt so much and saying that it needs the "original voice actor" for those that don't know Mr Charles, did an interview on how he became the voice of Mario… basically he was never even going to be chosen at last minute somebody called him up and said hey look there's this part down here do you want to try to go for it so he said yeah he went down and barely had but a few seconds to give them a spiel and in the end he was accepted however he has not done any voice over for any Mario whatsoever except for the video games.. any cartoons and movies were not voiced by him..all he ever has done is the " whah" "whoo hoo" "ya-ha" "imma tired"… and he didn't even fully do those they took his voice and they've been using it through a computer to do his voice he's just the claim to fame to it all in the end what he does is no different than what they do with the computer to make link make his noises from Zelda. The guy is a talented fellow and gets credit where credit is due but he has never truly voiced Super Mario he voiced his expressional grunts get over it Chris Pratt is doing a great job plus with all due respect anything that we get with any voice that we get will be better than that Dustin Hoffman John lasagna however you spell his last names rendition of Super msrio…. seriously go look at his interview he does like 10 seconds of a high-pitched really fast talking person where he basically just keeps mentioning stuff about Mario and a pizza pie…

Yh this Mario Bros Movie is looking very good at the mo, I don't mind Chris Pratt doing the Mario Voice and the other Voices are great aswell.

Seth rogen is also an odd choice considering a lot of people absolutely hate and despise him.
I’m fine with Kevin Michael Richardson, jack black and of course Charles martinet. But the rest of the cast is just odd to me.
I’m sorry but bowser actually speaking full lines puts me off. Bowser isn’t supposed to speak that’s not the point of his character. Also if you remember correctly they tried to give bowser a speaking voice in sunshine and it came off as odd and cringe.

Thats really sad that the company dedicates 7 years of their life and they put something for a min and everyone is like omg I hate it…man can we just stop being extremely negative and realize how much work went into this. Lol y'all are complaining about Mario's voice. If he came in there sounding like an Italian stereotype, Nintendo would've been chewed alive with todays heightened sensitivity. Would've been all kinds of racism accusations thrown their way knowing Italians don't talk like that. I think the voice is fine. Theres a SOFT subtle accent there but nothing CRAZY dramatic which still sounds good.
I'm excited for this movie and I hope it turns in to a saga of sorts.
