How much time you had taken to making your first game
What I do in pixel art is just draw like normal and it looks good! But sometimes I do gotta delete a few pixels cuz they look weird-
9:14 not necessarily, that's only the case if the light source is warm: despite what many tutorials affirm natural light is white, not yellowis., Furthermore lighter/darker colors aren't necessarily less/more saturated, chroma is also a factor in that. Otherwise great tutorial!
These are great videos. I’m looking for some new creative hobbies to get into. Just saw a piece of pixel art I really liked on Twitter and thought hey I should give this a try. Looking forward to applying some of the lessons in this video!
Pixel art community, whats up!
Quick question, I am trying to make a oldschool final fight / streets of rage type game, multiplayer, power ups, mobile and console able, what game program would you fine people suggest?
Wren sounds like a good tool for learning to increase my carbon footprint. And that's about all I got out of this
I think the most frustrating thing as a 42yo once-graphic artist is that, when I was in elementary school, my best friend and I used to create our own games on paper, compete with hand-made pixel art characters on graph paper. I never translated it to a digital skill, though, even though I had the Tandy draw program available, and I find now that I need to relearn what I intuitively grasped as a kid all over again. Here we go…
So I got nothing out of this.
Yeah, I didn't learn anything. This was more about your self promo and advertisement than a tutorial. Looking elsewhere
Thank you sir!👍
Let's not disrespect the pixel thumbnail dog the reason he look so stupid is because he has no details on his fur
64×64 is actually 4 x the pixels of 32 x 32
to make a comparison, the 2 drawings must have the same resolution
Would someone with no art skill be able to learn to pixel art? Been trying digital art for about two years I don't feel I make progress.
Also second question, is that music from Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness or am I mistaken xD
what pixel art program you draw on?
that left one looked good tho…
I’m here because I want to make funny snails
Very cool video
What programs do you use for making your pixel art, animating it, and for coding the 2D game?
another banger vid
Are you gonna Make update on 2D Choo Choo Chalres Game That you made for gavid
https://youtu.be/wvYy-_mZnHQ
How do you create a game for beginners? I want to create my own pixel art game.
Honestly your pixel art isn't very impressive and def not "professional". It's not bad but I even disagree with the points made about scale and the big one is over-detailed to its own detriment
Haii, I'm programming a farming game like Stardew Valley and I would like some characters running around but the time effort for pixeling every animation for many characters is just too high. Do you have some kind of advice or a tool for me to help?
Every help is appreciated! <3
Im trying to make a video game, might never come out, but im trying to learn pixel, and i barely understand what im doing, so this is helpful.
(Also i think that darker, worse shaded sphinx looks cooler)
As a beginner pixel artist it would be great if you made a tutorial for setting up ones canvas talk about how to adjust resolutions for saving the image as a png and maintaining the color and sharpness of the image. I'm really struggling with these things, everytime i save my pixel art the colors look desaturated and blurry even though I'm scaling up by 2 my resolution each time I save an image.
Any tips would be great!
