Which is better for Gaming? Dac or amp? Just bought the 900 pro x
Would you still recommend it? I know it's been a while but I really can't decide between this and the alternatives like the smsl dl200, would the V3 be a noticeable upgrade? Thanks in advance :]
How is this a review for GAMING WHEN THERE IS NO MIC INPUT?
So if im playing call of duty, do i use the power match button so its on? "white light" or off? I'm having a hard time hearing footsteps in Black ops 6 using this with HD560S headset. I use my volume dial at about 1 o'clock position with windows volume at 100. Tips? thanks
So I currently have a Creative Labs AE5 internal card
Would this be a worthy upgrade for gaming?
Using Arete fresh reviews IEM’s
Hey man, is that a topping e50 and l50 stack? I was looking into grabbing the dt 900 pro x and an e50 + l50 stack for gaming and music. Would you recommend?
In 2024 would u recommend ifi zen dac v2 or sound blaster x g6 for 60% gaming and 40% music? Thx fresh
i have 1220a motherboard. Thinking about getting soundbalster ae7 cards or are there better alternative dac and amb stack?
Hi fresh, would you review the 3 gen of the zen dac and compere to v2 ? That would be great 🎯
This or the Fiio K11 for gaming?? im using your Ziigaat Aretes
Awesome vid, Fresh!
I recently purchased a DT 900 Pro X and it sounds great, but I'm trying to figure out how much better they sound with an iFi Zen DAC V2 compared to the stock motherboard port (I have z790 Tomahawk). In competitive games, it's hard to tell where footsteps are coming from, how many enemies around me, etc. I tried the Oratory1990 EQ preset, it's better, but still lacks important details in games. Could you please describe your audio experience using iFi compared to the motherboard port? Thanks!
i just got this dac/amp. when adjust the volume number, going from 12 oclock to 1 oclock on dial there is a big noticeable sound bump that off putting to me.
Great video! Only gaming tech reviewer I can trust! Just swapped from a sound blaster to this Amp dac for my dt 900 pro X’s
I'm planning to replace my Simgot Em6l. i'm thinking about Yanyin Canon II or Splendor II for Fps game like Warzone3. any recommendation DAC for this IEM. budget friendly but with a good quality and functionality. thank you 🎉🎉🎉
Do you need a IEM with a 4.4mm or do you just use an adapter? Just starting to learn about audio
Hey Fresh Reviews, so I need a mixamp/dac (idk the difference). I'm looking to play on Xbox and use a headset and get game audio and discord audio simultaneously through the same headset. I was told on Reddit I'd need a mixamp/dac to make that possible. I was told to get an Astro mixamp pro TR, it has an optical and AUX, which I both need. But I can't find any tier lists in which the Astro mixamp is included. So I was wondering maybe I should get a better amp/dac instead of the Astro amp. Let me know. I'm new to this, so I need some help. Thanks.
Well expressed. I have a PC with an Asus Xonar DX2 sound card with its Burr Brown Dac. And YES the IFI Zen Dac V2 is ever so slightly clearer, with a very similar sound. I also have a Cambridge Audio Dac Magic and that is more revealing / and analytical but not quite as pleasant to listen to.
Fresh would you recommend this amp/dac for the yanin cannon v2s?
Would i need an amp for the stack if im using the dt 1990? Or is the ifi zen dac v2 enough?
Hey, how can I combine with amp MAGNAT MR 780 for games PS5?
