My husband and I have done all these things to bond with Charli, but she still can be a bit temperamental. She does not like to be patted, but we just continue to do so. We love her dearly and know with time she will be okay. We just spent a healthy bit at the vet to make sure she is well. He just said she has a mind of her own. Now that is for.❤ sure.🐱

I ended up acquiring a Maine Coon kitten/5 month old due to an unfortunate circumstance where a family couldn't take delivery due to the cold snap that happened in Texas.. However, she is very frightened of me.. She will not let me touch her but we do play everyday.. So far I have struck out on treats.. Does not like temptations.. I have a large golden retriever which may be part of her problem.. She is now coming into my room when I sleep at night and parks herself on my dresser.. the last couple days when I get her food ready she started chirping at me and will actually eat from the plate while I'm holding it. I've always been very good with animals and this has certainly been a challenge and I hope she snaps out of it. She has been here 10 days and I will keep persisting with patients.. She is extremely fast and I don't want to stress her out by catching her. However I will need to soon because she does need to go to the vet.. Moose looks absolutely adorable! I wonder if you had any kind of issue like this with yours?

I agree with you we always pick our cats up when they were kittens, and we have always given them treats when they hear the closet door open they know that they're getting treats lol. I always talk to my cats and sometimes they talk back to me😊. I scold them when they do something wrong and what do they do they give me cattitude🙄. But I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world a home isn't a home without a pet in it. 💞🐈💞🐈😘
