Thanks for watching "How To Bond With Your Puppy And Strengthen Your Relationship", how's the bonding going with you and your puppy?
Furry potato😂 you’re the best
Is,it okay that puppy is growling while playing?
Next year im getting my first puppy (puppy. Not dog), rough collie, going to be a service dog. I will be coming back and will say if this video worked or not!
Midsized dogs😉
Omg 2 minutes and 2 ads 🤯🤮
Thank you for your video, you are one of my favorites on this site. HOWEVER my pup is a girl, and you kept talking about all puppies as a boy and it was annoying lol
My puppy doesn’t care if I have pain.
How do you get puppies/dogs unafraid of vacuums and power tools? Including drills and Dremel tools for nails.
I had a horrible trainer who was NOT effective in a POSITIVE way!!
He put a choke collar on the puppy and then proceeded to use it very inappropriately!!
He was yanking on it harshly!
It was very inappropriate & the opposite of positive!!
It was not even normal correction. It was a form of torture to yank on a choke collar!
My puppy had no problem just going outside and walking around!
In fact I’ve never seen that has a problem in any puppies that I’ve seen!!
My ten week old lab puppy is quite different to what I'd imagined, and previously experienced. He's very independent, doesn't like to cuddle or be on the couch, and is overly smitten with the family dog, who cannot be bothered with him, and leading the puppy to ignore me. He is not particularly food motivated, and seems bored by toys, but not receptive to praise or attention. He is my world but I am having trouble bonding with him.
I'm wanting a new puppy but I want to be sure I don't suffocate them with affection to where they'll be scared of me
Is Pam single? Or did she end up with Jim?
Hi, Michelle. I was surprised that you object to placing our hands in the dog's food when they are eating. I have used this technique with 3 Labs we have owned over the years, and it seemed to work out well. Because there were little kids around, we didn't have to worry about one of them reaching for the dog while eating. I never observed any untrusting behavior after training in this way. Of course, the duration of hands in the food bowl was brief, only for a few seconds. Can you please give me some feedback on this topic? Thank you.
Subscribed. Been a new puppy mama for 1 month exactly. Koopa is 10 weeks and this helped me so so much. Thank you
My dog bites me and bark at me
Plz tell what should I do
He is 3 months old
Video too long
Welcome to the Video of video which contains another video.
Very looking forward to applying all of the things I've learned from your videos. My cavalier puppy comes home next weekend!
Thanks for saying this I adopted a dog a puppy blue nose pitbull sickly two weeks ago he's gaining weight very rapidly he's the love of my life I have a neighbor that has the same kind of dog but he's not a blue he's all white and he he gets beat with the belt because of potty accidents mine don't I don't even really say nothing to tell me about accident cuz I know I'd rather for him to you know do it on the paper but if you don't do it on the paper that's why I close my door my living room door cuz he sleeps in the bedroom with me so I keep the bathroom door closed closet door the places I don't want to poop you have to crack the door was cracked he'll go in do the crack and go use the bathroom but I was thinking that since he can hold it he's about ready to be trained that's that's far from it thank you for making sense he's just like a child it's like training the child it doesn't have nothing about he doesn't understand the sensations yet God bless you wish you could be my Sampson he's a mes
❤❤❤
My “ah ha” moment was the lesson on how to pick up the puppy. I had no idea picking them up under the front legs could cause pain! I won’t be doing THAT again!!
I’m not getting a new dog. I’m getting my service dog who I have helped train. But he hasn’t seen me in 2 months going on 3 months when he comes home. So I’m hear to try a learn how to bond with him again
I don't see where to get my free puppy starter kit or training kit.
I love the information you give , but I’d rather see action instead, which means showing examples on what you are talking or teaching about , would be more interesting instead watching videos of how it works instead of of falling asleep in middle of the your long talk of explaining.
Great, helpful video! Your videos always help to remind me to think more like a dog 🐕 I'm sure my pup appreciates it!
watching as writing btwyeah biting is a big problem with my pup noah, and this vid will help me alot I can tell already- okay first problem, I cant even schedule myself so I'm DEFINITELY not gonna be able to schedule my dog, and my doggo Noah? Hyper active always so body language is all over the place- ah I almost rlly messed up there- ah shoot gotta pause vid -OH MY I rlly gotta apologize to my pup for not knowing how to pick them up, Okay! Got it, Thanks!!I never hit my dog Bar or rubbed his nose in his accident or yelled at him. Therefore we had a very close bonded relationship and he was a great help with my cows!😀
Thanks so much we are getting a puppy next week and i am so excited to bond with this lil pup!
An «AH-HA» moment for me was the concept of the threshold & when a puppy stop learning 👌
Thank you so much I will have my dachshund puppy in 2 weeks and I have been bench watching all your videos. They have helped me have a clear understanding.
I just have a 7 weeks old Beagle few days ago and because of the raining everyday and the vaccination isn't complete i trained her potty inside the house with potty pad, and she already does all of her business only after i move her above it twice. Surely i will train her to potty outside too after she get her vaccines, so later she will comfortable to pee or poo whether its inside and outside. Holding urine inside the bladder is dangerous, whether for dog or human and could caused bladder stones or even kidney stones which will lead to renal failure in no times even after the surgery. I don't want my new dog have the same experience as my passed away dog.
So… I didn't put the word "come" in a glass box on a shelf. And my puppy is not very good at recall. What can I do now to get her to be better at it? She is 10 months old now.
I bred my dog and am keeping a puppy, they’re $5000 dogs. A rare breed. The havanese is an amazing dog. I bred mine with a toy poodle, my puppy is a havapoo. I’ve already started potty training all the puppies. They go to their new homes next week besides mine. The havanese almost went extinct and I’m glad they’re making a comeback
one ah ha moment for me was the way to pick up a puppy. Never knew about pinching nerves.
How do you feel about shock collars?
Amazing video 👍🏻
I've been binge watching your videos for the past few months as I got ready to bring home my first puppy. Gingerbread has now arrived (10 week old yellow Labrador who I am completely smitten with) and she's doing great. Your advice has helped more than I can say. One suggestion – maybe you could make a video on choosing a brand of food for puppies. There is so much advice out there and I'd love your take on it! Thanks again <3
I love your advise and suggestions
I am training two puppies at the same time …… help.
I want a link to the 30 day puppy training session
My Border Collie pup Zoë is almost 10weeks. She is getting to where she rolls over and tinkles a little when anyone wants to pet her. Our neighbors have a huge Pitbull that they let run loose all day even when theyre not home. So if I take Zoe outside and he is out, he starts barking at us and gets very close. She gets scared and sits between my legs. I have spoken with neighbors and they refuse to do anything. I really dont know what to do and fear Zoe will become fear reactive down the road
When I first started bringing my Cavalier King Charles on walks she would just sit and refuse to move if it was cold or damp. It was extremely infuriating. She would walk with no problem if it was sunny. It took almost two months to get her to walk.
Three and a half months later (now) she loves to go walking. I started training her to stop and wait at pedestrian crossings. She stops and waits while sitting with her tail wagging nine out of ten times. If she starts to cross I tell her "wait" and she stops to wait. Then when it's ok to cross I say "ok" and she crossed the road. She keeps glancing me while waiting.
At first she used to want to greet every single person but she's starting to pass some people without wanting to greet them. She's not pulling as much as she used to and she's stopping to sniff things less over time. Oh and I never multitask on walks.
On potty accidents. Since I e had her since December 31st 2020 (about three and a half months) she's had about 10 accidents inside. She's been very good to let me know she wants to go out with two months.
Her last accident was my fault. Two weeks ago She was after going out to the toilet an hour before bedtime so I thought she would be ok. While getting ready to go to bed and turning things off and making sure outside doors were locked she was on my bed and she owed on my bed. But three days ago we were playing with her toys and playing fetch , she stopped and sat at the door letting me know she wanted to go toilet. I left the door open and she owed then came back in and played more.
While playing she will sit and wait for me to throw her toy and she sits and waits for her food.
I think having a dog for ten and a half years helps a lot knowing how to train my puppy along with watching various puppy and dog training videos.
Thanks Michelle. ❤️
