Now that's crazy. I was born and raised on CB and saw a orange ball I thought was a fire one early am thinking it was a fire I came around the bends in the marsh till I was coming around the corner right 30 yds away and it shot straight up to gone dead silent.
An older gentleman yrs later told me when discussing something else about a orange orbe he saw in snows cut one night he thought was a sailboat mast light till he thinking it was to high to get under bridge and actually started studying what he was seeing and it shot towards sunny point nuclear facility dead silently. I then told him my story. I thought it was nuts we both saw orange orbs down here yrs apart in very different areas of the island. The marsh I saw it in is called buzzards bay and is also close to the nuclear facility.
