I explored a lot before actually getting to the school and I am glad I did I found my first shiny which was the pale flamingo. I figured maybe the textures were wigging out on me but decided to check it out and it sparkles ✨.

What was everyones first shiny randomly found my first was a shiny scatterbug my second i think random wait i remember i had a sandwich with electric encounter i had found the new flyer final evo outbreak i got bored so i went back to area zero btw i was near the end of pokemon violet btw

Checked this way after finishing the game. I played through the entire game without knowing anything. I did gyms in a much different order. Grusha was my third, which made me expect the champ to be around level 100 with how steep the levels rose from bug to water to ice. I grinded a lot to match grusha's power and then swept every other gym…
They give us an open world where you can do tasks in any order but don't make tasks allow any order. Gyms should've scaled properly with you just like in Pokemon Origins
What main shiny hunting method is locked? Just gonna say it and elaborate no further?
This game runs so bad I can hardly play it how are others able to run this steaming pile I sure did pick a terrible time to jump back in Pokémon since I was little
Why recommend skipping the classes? Lmao. They give more than just some silly rewards. One gives the only current way to obtain a specific Galarian form in the game, one gives a TM that can only be found in one other late game area, and others give Tera shards that will allow you to change a Pokémon’s Tera type later on.
Why recommend turning OFF autosave with the fear of “losing data” as the reasoning? It doesn’t need to be on for everyone, but you’re more at risk of losing a significant amount of progress if your game crashes without autosave on. It just comes down to personal preference.
Hahaha, this mofo thinks trainer battles aren't worthwhile. Bruh, some of the best tms in the game like earthquake are locked behind those trainer battle rewards, they are absolutely worth doing.

I feel like I’m playing Pokémon Scarlet Zero, “Zero” as in Prequel. I haven’t gotten around to collecting any gym leaders or Team Star Admins but have been ditching school to explore the region and fight Titans. My player character is basically the side character of the main story regarding gym battles but is the MC in this prequel.
My unit would probably be a teen or an adult when it decides to switch to inexperienced pokemon for when it finally starts back up with school and gym battles?

I did NOT know that about the shinies and not being attacked in the Let's Go feature. That's so helpful. Especially, with those Pokémon that are one stupid shade off their originals for their shiny version. 😑

I've had 2 crashes, playing on the normal switch, both times I was in an area with a lot of pokemon popping in and in my box. Been accessing box near pokemon centers, so far no more issues.

You have to use auto save I have had 3 crashes. If there is even the chance of crashes autosave is a must. I hope nobody looses 5 hours of game play because they followed your poor advice.
I personally recommend doing the history class because it gives you shrine locations for the new 4 legendaries! From there you'll have an idea on which area you need to look so you can unlock them.
Your pokemon will also not Auto Battle ditto!

Just found out that a pokemon will not evolve when you're using the "Let's go" feature…you have to engage in a battle and level up to evolve your mon..

Imma be completely honest i ran into a pink lechonk and thought oh its pink bc female it did the whole shiny effect but i was tired so I brushed it off as my eyes messing with me but my bf said it’s probably shiny then today i looked at my pokedex and it said I encountered a shiny and i was confused and checked the lechonk and it was indeed a shiny im glad I decided not to release it

Surprisingly enough auto-save saved me from losing my first 5?hours of play. It was at the electric gym challenge where you have to check the cameras to find a dude. When first starting it my screen went to the black loading screen, and then never loaded after 15 minutes. So I had to re-launch the game. Thankfully auto save saved right before it happened inside the gym. If it wasn’t for auto leave I would have had to start from the beginning again. I’m just bad at remembering to save.
