I’m HOPING this can actually add to the game. I feel like that scene where golden freddy and Abby are together in the car it’s golden freddy taking her out of there to save her from springtrap.
Hopefully allowing Mike to represent shadow Freddy, as they follow him toward the safe room. The animatronics try to get him out (or attack him) as they’re all disassembled.
All of them go into the room (except Cassidy and Abby). Where the movie ends and we get our well waited springlock scene, and hopefully some kind of teaser for a sequel. Along with add lore, and potentially reveal what the hell the shadows are.

I definetly agree this theory, but I also had one other idea about the Golden Freddy with Abby stuff. If Mike Schmidt truly is Mike Afton, that means that some form of the Bite of '83 likely happened. If that is true, and the Crying Child is inside of Golden Freddy, then Abby is techincally his NIECE. This could be part of the reason why Golden Freddy is friendly toward Abby-even if he holds some resentment to Mike for the Bite, he recognizes that Abby is his family and should be protected. I don't have much evidence for this theory besides the established canon of the games, but one thing I did notice is that in Golden Freddy, only his blue eye is active. If I remember correctly, Golden Freddy had two glowing eyes in the bad ending of FNAF 3, and one glowing eye in the good ending, as a way of showing the Crying Child leaving while Cassidy stayed. So the fact that only one eye in Golden Freddy is glowing, and the fact that Golden Freddy is good, seems to imply that, at the very least, the Crying Child is the one in control of Fredbear.
Question, if he isn’t Springtrap yet, why does Afton have the animatronic eyes in?

13:04 I think that maybe the reason why the animatronics are trying to separate Abby from Mike is because if Mike Schmidt really is Michael Afton, the animatronics might have confused him with William, like in Sister Location when Michael says "They didn't recognize me at first, but then _they thought I was you_." and they're just trying to "protect" Abby from their "murderer"

I have an almost entirely dumb far fetched theory but it’s similar to yours about why we see Abby holding the hand of Golden Freddy in the trailer but unlike yours I think it’s because maybe Mike gets put into the the Golden Freddy springlock suit after he’s in what looks like a torture device after getting caught by Steve Raglan/Afton/Spring Bonnie, that would explain when he’s in an Uber/taxi where the driver says “why do I always get the weird ones” or something like that and in the car is Golden Freddy and Abby so what if Mike is put into that animatronic and Abby knows it’s him cause he ig somehow explains it to her? It’s just a small theory of mine that I’ve had for a couple weeks now since seeing the trailer
