Adding religion to justify it's existence is kinda stupid. First of all no one currently reads the original bible. Everyone reads the modified version which is written in English. I still don't understand why humans think alien will use the same frequency as we do to communicate with us. Specially why would they? If any alien even visits our planet there's 0% chance they'll contact human after learning about human history.

Alien races of the Milky Way:
The Greys. There are 165 races. The EBENs from Zeta Reticuli are the most famous alien race known to Humans. They abduct lifeforms for many different reasons and are friendly. They are technically plants so they absorb light and feed on soil nutrients.
The Maitre, also called the Tall Greys, are malevolent Greys created by the Orion Reptiles. They now exist on countless planets, including Mars. The Sparsholt Crop Circle features a Maitre. The Tall Greys are also the ones who do a lot of the livestock mutilations.
The Etorthans are from the star Betelgeuse, benevolent but emotionless. Members of the Galactic Federation.
The Orion Greys are malevolent Greys from Rigel.
The Pleiadians. Also known as the Taygetans or Nordic Aliens, they are the most benevolent aliens. They are from planets Erra and Temmer in the Taygeta System. Taygetans have the exact appearance of humans, appearing as Scandinavians. They are Federation members. 75% of them is female, and they are telepathic, like many aliens.
The Andromedans. From the Andromeda constellation, they resemble Humans, but bald, 3 meters tall, and with pale blue skin. Shiva is the most famous Andromedan known to Humans (but he doesn't have four arms). They don't live on planets anymore, and live in biosphere spherical space station. The Moon is an example of this (It is in abandoned though). Benevolent and Federation members.
The Arcturians resemble the Greys but with blue skin. They are from the planet Pitoya (and several others) in the Arcturus System. They are the most technologically advanced race in the Galaxy. Benevolent and Federation members.
The Urmah. They are advanced, bipedal big cats of the genus Panthera (lions, tigers, leopards). From the planets Avyon and Lyra in the Vega System. Benevolent and Federation members.
The Alpha Draconians. Not to be confused with the Draconians, the Alpha Dracos are literal dragons (exactly what the myths were inspired from). They don't breathe fire, but spit a liquid which ignites in contact with oxygen. They were originally from another galaxy and timeline, but now are mostly found at Alpha Draconis, (benevolent ones there), but some in Orion (malevolent ones there).
The Xenomorphs. Yes, Xenormorphs exist. Hollywood knows them, so they put it in the movies. They are only the classic ones, but are not humanoid or bipedal. They are multi-legged like spiders and crawl like them too. They are found all of the Galaxy and it is unknown where they originated. The Yautja also exist for the same reason.
The Reptilians. There are thousands of species, including the Alpha Dracos I mentioned above. There are the Draconians, the Seraphim, the Seraphey, Seraphim-Draconians, Naga, Xel'Naga, Yautja, Sau'k (but these ones are friendly, and from Sterope II), and many more. There are Reptilians controlling Earth since they invaded 40,000 years ago. There used to be several other planets who were being controlled (the planets of Tau Ceti, Alpha Centauri A and B, and Gliese 667C, for example) but now Venus and Earth are the only ones left. The Galactic Federation got rid of them.
The Anunnaki. Human-like, having the appearance of Zeus or (the personification of) God. Likely not Lyrian (from Vega), which is who Humans and Pleiadians (Taygetans) have descended from. Gilgamesh was an alien of this type.
The Mantis People. They are insectoids who come from countless planets, but in the Solar System, they are found on Mars and Ojalu (known to us as Planet X). Some species are hive-mind, some are not, but (probably) all species are eusocial (have queens like ants, bees and termites). Some are malevolent, some are neutral, some are neutral-benevolent.
Although from Earth, Bigfeet and Yeti deserve to be mentioned. They spend most of their time underground, in trapdoor burrows like trapdoor spiders. When prey gets within range, they quickly lunge and grab it. Evidence of Bigfeet is being covered up by park rangers apparently.
There are many more alien races. Yena, Solations, Engans, Lyrian Ashands, Hyadeans <— from the Pleiades. The Karistus, blue non-corporeal beings from Jupiter who have inspired angels. The Amelie, also non-corporeal, but this time humanoid, from planet Cyndriel in the Aldebaran System. There are also the Tall Whites (not to be confused with the Taygetans/Pleiadians), the Canines, and Avians, and of course, so many more races.
