You inspired me to foster kittens, it was tough but so worth it. We lost a few, panleukopenia is so scary. We actually had one kitten in that litter survive panleuk and she is in a permanent home now. She's such a fighter.
Even though not every kitten survives, i think it's worth it anyway because to me fostering is about providing as much love and care to these kittens as possible, so even if they pass away they know that they are loved

With butt support you taught her that it is possible. And then she made it work herself. You enabled her to feel what angle her legs had to be at to get up there so she was able to use that as a reference point for her own attempts.

It seems that strengthening the front legs is the way to go. They’ll do most of the pulling and moving, while the back legs can just be for balancing. Same as the cats with lower leg paralysis, except they can help position her.
