The real problem for AC is they try to be woke. Their brand is inclusion of culture in all of their games. And then have the balls to erase "Asian Male" representation, knowing full well that Asian dudes (not the gals) in particular get shafted in Western media. Take a look at the Shadow writers and team. I'd be surprised to see an Asain dude as a decision maker in there.
What's also more messed up is that people just don't gaf about Asian dudes, and can't emphasize nor see it from their lens. These Asian bros vocalize and people don't care including the "woke" crowd, which only cares about LGBQT and black people, while excluding most races out of the conversation. This is a perfect example of corporate sell out to a selective woke movement.
Yasuke could've been a side character and still be relevant. But leaving Asian dude MC out of the title (only ones there get slaughtered by POC), in a game all about inclusion. Not like anti-Asian violence wasn't already a thing.
