I have six cats( 4 of mine, two of my son’s who just moved back in), and they all have their different ways, you are so right. Some sleep on my bed, some sleep on me, some sleep on my favorite spot on the couch. Or one of our 7 cat trees scattered throughout our house, lol. But they all show their love in their own way.

Ive also heard that its a form of protection. Cats dont understand how we can be passed out cold for 8 hours. So they lay ontop of you not so much as to sleep, but as to guard aswell untill you regain consious.
When i go to bed my cats lay under the covers with me, when i wake up they are laying ontop of the covers on my torso (back/shoulders). Even as i move to lay in a different position, they get of to allow me to move and get right back on when iam done moving.
What about biting the human's face.. While they are sleeping ?!?! Like the cat is all purring and softy feely touchy…. Then comes thé biting!

I was on a cot and sleeping on my side, and my cat decided to sleep full on my side nowhere on the cot, which had no room for her barely for me. Does that mean something?
I have 2 cats, one sleeps next to my head and the other sleeps on my chest or next to my chest, they usually purr all night long. In the morning when the alarm goes off I get my hair cleaned by one or both, then I get gentle face taps and kitty kisses (they rub their face against my face). There is no hitting the snooze button with these two, they know it's breakfast time for them; don't get in the way of breakfast, no can't do that. Love ny kitty girls.
Yeah ordinarily my cat seems pretty aloof. But he d stand between other cats and me and hisses to prevent other cats from getting anywhere near me😅 I got a pretty neurotic cat, I can’t have other pets but him😂😅
Heres a question: why does my 6 mo. old kitten prefer my boyfriend over me? I nursed her to health after we rescued her (she was really sick and her eyes were completely gunked closed) i feed her, give her treats, clean her litter box, play with her all the time everyday but she only goes to cuddle, purr and sleep with him and constantly (shes obsessed with him) and it makes me sad because hes done/does nothing but is the total favorite 🙁 She used to love me like that when she was a baby but now she rarely comes to lay on me and doesn't give me affection really other than that (like no purrs or anything). Why do cats pick favorites and what can i do to make her like me more? lol

I dislike cats. I’m a dog gal. Not my thing. But my boyfriends cat absolutely refuses to sleep on him she comes to me rubs all over me purs nudges me. And then passes out. I’m not a monster so I just allow it but it’s shocking that she chooses me to show more affection towards. She’s been with him for 6 years before I even showed into the picture lol.
Even when Nala was a kitten she would follow me EVERYWHERE she'll taste test while im cooking greet me upon my return from work, um while im doing poo-poo's, chills with me in my man cave and atm sleeping on my left foot..

My cat sleep in my arms with his head on my chest and if i move he will refix his self an puts he head under my chin and goes back to sleep he has to give nite nite kisses too
so what about when a cat will sit on any human to loudly purr and knead? our adopted boy was like that when he was in the streets and from the moment he came into our home he was kneading and purring nonstop for a day as if to thank us. he still does at least once a day for about 15 mins
I cuddle with my cat. He is HUGE and I am tiny so it's uncomfortable when he sleeps on me but he's been trying lately lol ❤

My cat is following me as if she's a dog won't let me sit down and she's on me. She also gently touches my face and rubs on me and lays on me while touching my face or my chest with her paws. She's never been this clingy either and wonder why it's extra I do know she loves me we do the slow blink for I love you alot and she loves kisses and cuddles. And when I have to get up she uses her nails and clings to me and meows like I'm doing something bad lol

Cat mostly does join me when I am allready sleeping so when I wake up to go to the toilet or in the morning he is sleeping next to me and often I have no idea when he joined me.

Jackson!!!! Lucas my most loveable adorable black cat has no concept of personal space. He must be physically touching me at all times; not just at night, and yes he sleeps on top of me. I'm a side sleeper so my husband thinks it looks odd lol. He was born in the house and is not an outside boy. It scares him.

I’ve never known another cat by that name!!! Without going into a whole thing, I’m pretty particular about a pet’s name. Most every pet I’ve had was an automatic name due to a behavior, a look, their coat… & it will fit them like a glove- even better!!! 😆
So, when I got my Mowgli, it wasn’t about the name at first because I could not think of this character’s name!! It was driving me nuts!! Finally it hit me that the boy’s name in Jungle Book was MOWGLI!!! 😁it was within 2-3 minutes & I KNEW!!! He looked 💯 EXACTLY like him!!! It was his eyes— just identical!!!

My cat rarely sleeps on me and i think it's because i move around too much. Whenever she tries to sleep with me, i end up moving her lol 😅. But she does often sleep under my bed instead. 😊
I get all of this but not only does my cat sleep on my shoulder with her head on my cheek, she has to have her face in the palm of my hand – what's that?! She also rests her paw on my eye or on my mouth which I block with a sleep mask & my other hand. I don't understand this either & BTW, what a way to sleep! This has been going on for a year after living with us for 8 years.
