Ok, I`m here checkong updates on Diablo 4 while waiting for Path of Exile 2. I Wish I would be able to decide what to play with a friend of mine..In One hand It seems that Path of Exile 2 Is going to be a masterpiece for a decade, on the other hand D4 story seems interesting g to me and POE2 would force me to create character based on specific gender this gs is not what I like too …
I started playing diablo 2 when i was 8. i am now nearly 28 and have been playing the series on and off since. D4 has been far more successful in its first year than D3 was IMO. D3 was a fun arcade game by EoL, but its first 2 years were really rough. D4's first season was ass, but ive been having fun with it since launch.
Season 4's streamlining has done a great job getting us ready for the xpac in a few months, im happy.
Its always good to hear someone else's feelings, i hope the xpac brings a lot of people back around
We need new classes, story dlc, new enemy types, new zones, and new armor appeal
honestly, my biggest issue is that there are really only like 6 skills per playstyle that cant be mixed and matched like in d3.
Every fire sorc plays like all other fire sorcs. all werewolves play like other werewolves.
in d3, I could make basically any spell work with fire on the wizard. You could have 10 different wizards all focused on fire playing very differently.
This is just too late for me. I’ve moved on and don’t plan to go back. Hopefully those who still play are happy
Is this for the internal realm as well or just seasonal?
I'll play Diablo IV once they finally release a crusader/paladin class. It's crazy to me that they released Diablo III and Diablo IV without a holy class.
It's a nice update, way easier to level your builds up, BUT….they need to add or mod the skill more. Been out for a while and it's about time for new skills and powers I would think. Also stop making up make new chars every…dam…season geez. Just make something the new players AND the pros please. Tired of having to start over every dam season.
Can anyone tell me when the expansion would be coming out because from what I understood and read but this is a while ago they said they weren't making one for like a year or so
I wish they make the cooldowns way faster man. I hate having to basic attack so much
I love all the changes they made, it's much less frustrating to get exactly the kind of gear you want, the pure rng of the past was a nightmare. it's still very rng based but feels fair. my only complaint is how grindy they made the master working.
Not only it cost SO MUCH MONEY, but the required pit materials are so high too! you need more than a 100 to 200 mats for a rank 7 and 8 upgrade and the pits drop something like 50 mats at the highest tier for that mat(yeah I know you can exchange them too but not the MW 8+ mats). the problem is the pit enemies will become such damage sponges as you go higher that it becomes tedious going through the pit. also, the rewards for such high-difficulty pits are pathetic! at least give us guaranteed higher affixes for 90+ pits, you know something to actively look forward too
I was hoping to get an answer to why I'm suddenly at cap for all resistances by default, and why all the ubers, including Duriel are about as tough as kittens.
still sounds entirely too complicated.
Thank you, you saved me a bunch of time investing in this update.
What class/build are you liking best?
I really don't like rifts in Diablo 3.
And I don't like crafting is more important than looting. It sounds very boring.
I just hate battlepass. Why couldn't they have it like D3? No battlepass
Been having a ton of fun this season tbh. The loot feels a lot better
Overhaul the whole game including the story. It’s awesome!
I wouldn't mind a Diablike with a crafting system akin to an Atelier JRPG, but they're using a generically grindy crafting system. This update is just… ugh. The loot not only feels the same but now we're being tasked with MORE menus?
And why Rifts in D4? Haven't we had enough of the game's 4 dungeons at this point…
Man i had fun with diablo 4… i play a game once to the end and dont keep playing a thousand times.. it was a solid fun looter rpg
Might as well play a level 100 character in Eternal because it’s a month and half or so season it’s not worth grinding
This actually sounds like a real QOL update. Streamlined loot is better for me. But the problem of needing to upgrade an item to see if it's actually better than what you have is already the problem I had with gear. I don't have a problem with that grind, but it's silly to never know if an item is better than what I already have until I spend the resources to upgrade it.
I liked the rifts in D3… I just didn't want to grind them forever. Just like the dungeons: they're fun, but after I've done all of the ones that give my sorc it's affixes, I don't see a reason to the other 120 of them because it's more of the same.
Crafting may be better than waiting for loot to drop (which is already dumb for the reason in my first point), because I least I can work towards something instead of praying to RNGesus for a better drop.
That being said, I'm with Mortismal on this one; I'm waiting for the expansion. D3 was only really good after Reaper of Souls and after a bunch of patches, and D4 is probably going to be the same. No point grinding it right now because my progress might just be reset at the expansion's release.
PS: I'm going to skip the expansion if I have to start a new character and do everything all over again. Not going to happen. Doing one character was more work/trouble than I wanted (and I only got my sorcerer to level 62 and beat the WT IV capstone dungeon before putting the game down).
