Personnally, I loved this show and still love it even knowing it's utter bullshit. In France, it's called Alien Theory and I watch it when I can because it's funny.
There are a lot of comments saying "oh my God, I lost x years of my life watching it" but hey guys, how could have you been so naive to believe them. To start with, there are no guys with real diplomas in the AA Crew. Sometimes there is one real scholar who will talk about some details but overall, there is no real scientist.
So yes when I was watching that, i was questioning myself like "how come have they got no real solid evidence of what they're saying ?. And if they have, why real guys from univerrsities dont investigate their findings ?"
And just by the looks of them, you can tell they are crooks who want to sell their books. Except maybe for David Lovechild (whatever is name is) who seems to really believe in what he says.
Well, I still have to admit that sometimes (often), I was like "wwoowww fuck, what if…"…but still had doubts in the back of my mind.
I remember fondly this episode with the Nazis sending a team out in the Himalaya to look for the lost city of Shambala (something like that). But they got caught by the Yeti (Bigfoot) by the Lake of The Dead Men and perished. Wooowww what a great story that was !!!
So, I cannot throw them the stone. Their imagination and creativity is great. And quite funny when you look at their stories with a distance.

Ancient Alien theories are fun in fictional stories as some kind fo plot device and wild, pulp fun. As an actual theory, it is absolutely ridiculous and robs these incredible civilizations of their amazing achievements for no real good reason.
Ancient aliens is so stupid lol. I didn't know all the real histories behind their claims but i knew they were bullsh*t with just a basic high school level education. I used to laugh thinking of these intelligent, powerful beings that were restricted to using just rocks and the most basic methods of construction.
