I'm so frustrated. People are either in the camp of "don't let them around other dogs until 4 months of age, because pavro virus." Other people, "socialize as soon as possible."
I have never understood the concept of dog parks. Why would anyone expose their dog to the possible dangers of mixing with the risk of irresponsible owners (and their mobile phones that take their attention away) and the possibility of their aggressive dogs? My Japanese Spitz is very social and has never been to a dog park. She loves people and other dogs, possibly too much ( she jumps on people) and has never been to a dog park, but has met other dogs and people socially with great successs.
How on earth do you find dogs for puppy dates if you just got a puppy?!
Hi, great video.
Super interesting video. I took my dog to a dog park and she got attacked. She is doing so much better now, and I am so proud of her. This video literally goes over exactly what happened to my dog. Now, we don't take her to dog parks, but let her off-leash in fields so she can still run around with other dogs. Thanks so much for this video, its super awesome and informative. 🙂
