My baby kitten Luna is 2 months old she’s very energetic which I love and when she’s relaxed and wants some loving she comes and kisses on me and lays on my lap. She loves feathers and hunting them down and killing them! Are there other types of toys on a stick that are similar to feathers but not as easily stuck on their nails when she gets such a good hold on it? I am scared I might hurt her nails or pull on it accidentally
where can we find the cat food brand "Raw & Fresh" we see in Jacob's video?
Thank you for this ❤
Jake i would suggest u feed ur cats only 1/2 the foid 1st then play then give them the rest after play cuz 2 me it sounds like ur worried bout them over eating so i suggest u try feeding only 1/2 the food than play than give them the rest of the foid i hope that helps hun n God bless ur beautiful souls n everyones animals beautiful souls!🙀😼😺😽😻💯🙏💞🙏
My cats like to eat, catch and kill, they eat, feel happy about it and then they play. My cats play a lot and that is what matters.
My cats like to go to their cat toy box and choose their toy and they spread them around and do play with them again. They have toys in a box in my room and lots spread out in their room. They simply love their room with beds, toys and scratchers.
You didn't mention the logic why the cat scares away from the toy and how to avoid that entirely. Kind of surprised coming from this channel.
It's abnormal for prey to come at you as a predator. Especially as a smaller predator that's predated on itself by others, something that comes at you either feels it has no reason to fear you or worse it's a predator to you, either way a threat, not prey. Cats will generally flee anything that charges at them in my experience and makes the cat distrust it. Even when it's an actual (but confused) prey animal (or toy).
So it figures you don't want to move toys that are supposed to be prey analogs in a way that simulates a potential threat instead of prey.
Just my 2 cents as a lifelong cat owner.
I would love to see a video about wallflowers in more detail! My cat has serious anxiety with playtime, and usually has to tap out halfway through cause his own energy overwhelms him. He only seems interested in ground prey, which is fine with me, but it's very difficult to get him past his shyness to actually engaging with it even when it's on the ground and only moving away from him
i remember when i showed my finger tip from behind the couch my cat always went from | _ | to O_O
I tried to concentrate lol
Put all toys away after? I do that with wands but not the rest. I’ll try that. Thank you!
Hi @JacksonGalaxy!
I got two kittens aged 15 weeks now, they’re brothers and have a quite ok-ish – nice relationship. But when playtime comes, Sìth is dominating and taking everything over, Smúid on the other hand is interested and plays until Sìth takes over. Then he just sadly goes away. I tried separate them and just play with Smúid but then Sìth starts crying on the other side of the door 🙈 what should I do? Pls help!
Normally Smúid watches us play but would not engage or take to try over the toy
I just got a kitten, about 2 months old, after finding him injured on the side of the road. After many vet visits, he lives in my house now. Since I work 9 hours a day … is it still recommended to keep toys away from them? Or do I leave one out and keep the rest away until I get home? While I am at work, I keep the baby contained in a bedroom, where there's nothing for him to get in trouble with.
Great video. I’ve noticed she’s got tons of energy after eating and what a fussy eater she is. Cloudy is her name. A long haired domestic 3 years old and a beauty but lately she’s been going for my shins and wrist. She’s basically crucifying me but now I know why thanks to your brilliant psycho analytics.
My cat wants to play before AND after a meal. Then sleep.
My Tortoiseshell cat is the same way, eat first then play. At this point im convinced she is trying to say "yo i need some energy first". Or she is copying my behavior as i always make coffee or eat smth before doing something
Do you Jackson have an outlet for your toys?
I was entertained and inspired, I just love your sense of humor and your style. Thank you, I just subscribed because of this video.
Your videos are really appreciated! I love playing with my rescued cat. I have to admit, it kinda hurts my feelings when we're in the middle of playing and she walks away like, "meh…I've had enough of playing with you, fool!" LOL! 🤣
Glad I found the video! My cat also will "only" play after he eats and not until he eats lol I will listen.
my kitten very much does this as well. he wakes up and very sleepily eats his food, THEN wants to absolutely ravage my apartment and play OR i play and then try to feed, but he just naps and then wants to play again. he won't eat after playing for a few hours
Hi there Jackson! The feathers regarding cat toys… what can be found in them? Can there be toxic substances in the toys? One of my cats has now been sick twice. after chewing on feathers on these toys.
Bells, toys with bells. He LOVES bells!! He will play with his toy that has Bells until he drops!
When I heard the name Pepsi, I knew it was a black cat. 🐈⬛
My cat, Fizz, won’t eat after play time. So we play after he eats.
My cat was a ferral kitten. She has never played much and never liked petting. She is 17 and just bit my husband really badly. He has an infection. Oddly she always liked him better than me. I pretty much avoided her.
I think Pepsi is a cute name!
I play with my cat through a curtain. I sit on one side with a wand toy, and my cat will attack through the curtain. She dives through it and has so much fun!!
I'm a first time pet owner and most days I feel lost. I really like this video because it helped greatly with play time. He's also PTSD. So I can get upset when I don't know what I'm doing or if I'm doing it right.
I just got a rescue kitten, and I'm new to everything and this channel has been a life saver.
