i think the publishers know if their game is branded as having a anti-woke backlash, then they know they can get away with more as far as forcing positive coverage etc since they know the gaming media will cover them and bury the story etc

The best-selling Star Wars have sold 10 million+ copies. That's half a billion dollars in revenue. There is serious pressure for these games to sell well, and it's not surprising that these companies are putting the same pressure on reviewers.
Sponsored videos are a waste of time, in my opinion.
Pick up the game with all the DLC included next summer for half price. Everyone has a backlog of cool games to play. Ubisoft always are underwhelming with the gameplay.
If the preview is sponsored, it's up to the creator to divulge that info to the viewers and the company sponsoring have the right to a say about what is in that video. If that is the case this is really a non issue. Having said that, the game looks absolutely mid and as a huge star wars fan I'm probs going to skip it. Also Crash Team Racing is the GOAT RGT you're trippin.

Game looks cool overall, and i find the mc likeable.
Only hope the action and stealth parts can be challenging, interesting enough.

This sounds like someone trying to discredit the game after it actually turned out great. Only one out of literally hundreds of journalists are making this claim. It feels like he's just trying to discredit the positive feedback the game is getting. The same way people tried to claim that the good reviews for The Last Jedi were bought and paid for by Disney.
The game looks fun. I just really hope the puzzle solving isn't limited like you said. Part of what made Breath of the Wild so fun was applying the systems driven mechanics to puzzle solving. It was so much more than a more open LoZ. It had a little Deus Ex/Thief/Dishonored flavor mixed in.
