I remember years back ago for $50 games. Games used to come with the whole package. They had single player multiplayer coopera playlist before EA monetize everything.. now you got to pay 50-60 bucks base game, another 40 bucks for the DLC cough expansion packs.

I remember quidditch on the GBA. Depending on how many points you scored, you got a certain amount of boost in the last race for the snitch. Catching the snitch would give an insane amount of points so usually you won right there. I found those rules more logic.
But this game is really well done. Catching the snitch twice feels weird but I can’t complain 😅
In other words, it in fact, should have been a mini game of Hogwarts Legacy, and not just cut out.

Not saying this game is a masterpiece by any means but saying there isn't enough to do off the pitch in a Quidditch game has got to be one of the most irrelevant criticisms I have heard from you guys in a while. That's like complaining that I can't run around in an open world in FIFA, who cares?

Firstly I'll say it, great game, not sure why it took this long to make a quidditch game again when all the base mechanics were there from back in GameCube, love the game.
Side note for PVP if you choose to be the beater and stop another from being so, atleast use the position when the seeker is on the field
Why not have this as a dlc for Hogwarts Legacy? Even if you only have 4 school teams that's still better than trying to stretch it into a whole game.

"Once you land between matches, Quiddich Champions doesn't have much off the pitch to keep you coming back." What a silly take. This is a "sports" game essentially, like Madden, etc. You don't play those games for the locker room gameplay, you play them for the games/matches.

They could have at least connected this to our hogwarts legacy game so that the house with the most wins in quidich champions per season would reflect in hogwarts legacy.
Within one week, steam charts dropped from 6.5k peak, to under 1000. We're in the middle of an event right now and we're only peaking in the 400's. Game is having too many server issues so people have largely moved on. Very sad and unfortunate the poor management of the game.
