Ubisoft have destroyed my gaming experiences. I now seem to verify games over and over. I now need to login manually if boot into offline. Not bloody necessary to add this extra frustration on top of The other crap IMO
People hide malware in old games because they know older people are looking for them
In my opinion EULAs are what in the Legal world is called an Unconscionable Contract. Look it up, then talk to your rich friends lawyer.
"Put them 'in' the couch next to me", is the Ultimate Freudian Slip.
Just wanted to remind European gamers that now can sign the petition on Stop Killing Games
I had over 35k miles on the S1KRR in this game
I just got perma banned on siege because I argue with griefers and talk shit. I’ve played on that siege account for 8 years, have 7000 hours on that account, and over $1000 spent.
They banned me, and now I’m free from that bullshit. Fuck Ubisoft.
Very important topic. The Canadian petition is still chugging along.
Unfortunate that you felt the need to use a click-bait title though. Zero mention of a lawsuit that I heard in this video.
I know people can hide comments, but in case that doesn't happen here, the current title of the video is "I Want To Sue Ubisoft and Game Publishers…"
Preach I remember being worried if I would still be able to play jump force when they took the servers down. This is my issue with D2 as well I paid for all the expansions. I am not sure if they have fixed it since I stopped playing, but I should be able to play any campaign I want to that I paid for. Idc that I get to still use exotic and get missions from past content here and there or can do the raids blah blah blah.
You can have those servers running for less than a dolar a day. They can ask that money to the gamers if they can't afford it. What you call a server is a server side application that uses resources for connection. A matchmaking server like The Crew can be executed on any PC, taking only 1 or 2% system usage. Depends on the app, the resources distribution and tasks assigned. Also you can run your own instance of the server anytime you want.
Give me my money back
"unless you look at the very corner of the box"
Lol, you just undermined your own point.
Of all the efforts being used to destroy game culture on purpose, this issue hardly matters.
I just have a problem with subscription based software in general if I'm to be honest and any software that requires an internet connection to work. I'm happy to admit that I hate this business model and I want it to stop. I know that isn't the point of Ross's campaign but that's the reason I support it. Being able to outright own a copy of every piece of consumer software should be a thing in my book.
Muta if you dont play ff7 echo s
i will find and i will look at you judgingly 😂😂🤣
seriously at least check it out updated graphics widescreen and fully voiced
it feels like at least a ps2 era game it is amazing
Think about it like fast food. You're renting it
Anyone else miss the good old days when you simply bought a disc / cartridge , popped it into your system , turned on the power , and enjoyed playing your game without the loooooong hours/days having to wait for it to "install" , worrying about your internet connection , having to buy multiple 100 dollar a month "premium" subscriptions to ps plus and xbox live gold and having to spend countless dollars (you oftentimes don't have) to buy countless dlc content and "season passes" just to play a simple game that gets shut down after a few days , never to be played again?
Stop buying games from crappy companies like Ubisoft
If I can’t hold it I don’t want it. It’s that simple. These are only wants not needs.
they did it because of the DRM and they don't want fix the DRM if they fix it you might play Crew 1 instead Crew 2
By 2030, every game that is new, will be a live service game that they pull the plug on within 3-4 years if it doesn't meet a certain criteria for cash. That is if this is allowed to continue. I have simply pirated every live service game possible if I want to play that game by myself- because of this.
Never heard a better reason for GOG.
If I was a lawmaker, I'd make a law that separates ip from individual products. The ip is owned by the company and they can use it as they see fit the same way it works now, but individual products made using that ip will have a 10 year expiration date, after which they become public, unless it's a live service, in which case it goes public when service ends.
4:33 "…and last I checked, playing with myself, I didn't always have to have people with me…" 🤣🤣🤣
vote with your money. if the title says on the box "Requires Internet Connection", just don't buy it.
i don't have internet connected on my PS4, and if the game won't start, i just return it to the store as broken…
I will always find online only games funny because time and again, a pirated free copy is offline.
So you buy the game and can only play it online and your ability to play can be taken away from you because you don't actually own it.
Or you get the game free, can play offline and the game cannot be taken away from you because you actually own it
How is that even legal ?
Dont petition the government to do anything, because if they can bring a law that is for us they can also bring a law that is prohibiting something we like..just vote with your wallets guys, leave government out of gaming
