I have a Maine coon I’m confused by. He acts like he wants to cuddle and leaves. Different blankets. Positions. Treats. He leaves. I got him because I was told he was cuddly and I had just lost my super cuddly boy of 17 yrs and have been devastated. The lack of cuddling is making me very emotional when I needed it so badly for emotional support.
My Bengal is just like Mia in not liking cuddles. Still no lap sitting, but she does make bikkies when I rub her belly.

I know this is off subject but i was wondering what are your thoughts on Mia being a one household cat. I heard that Bengals do better with another cat as a companion/playmate. I will be getting my bengal kitten in 8 weeks. She will be an only cat for now. I am considering a second bengal down the road. Also i am always home and have plenty of time to bond with my kitten.

My cat (7 months old) likes to cuddle right after he eats and when he wakes up from a long nap. Sometimes, he will cuddle when I want to. I smooched and cuddled him a lot when he was tiny, so he is used to it 🙂
