also the Bombay🐱
scottish fold is the best🐱🐱 mine is12 weeks old her name is vanilla and very cute
When my Scottish fold is angry it bites like hell
My favorite is the Maine Coon
I think the Bombay should be on this list – also, I would say both the Scottish fold as well as the Scottish straight as they are the same breed.
I would also add Chantilly Tiffany cat breed , they are so quiet, so friendly, smart, they would spend their time being on your knees all day long,
We have two spyhnx, two British shorthairs and a Siamese. The Siamese is a nightmare, the bsh are very antisocial and sphynx are just adorable monkey/chickens!
you left out orange cats 😺
No 10 is number 1. Period
Where's all my orange tabby peeps?? If you haven't owned one then you don't know. They're the best cants anyone can own..
These are literally just premium cat breeds that people throw away money on when any old stray on the street would be just as a friendly if you treat them right
I've only ever had rescue cats, but two them were pretty close to purebred as far as characteristics go. One was a ragdoll. Or mostly ragdoll. Super, super friendly. The other is a Norwegian Forest Cat. He is also very friendly but has a very different personality. Neither cat has standard factory settings. They follow me around and listen to everything I say, no matter how ridiculous, as if it were the most fascinating thing they ever heard. Not at all aloof. Both "breeds", in my experience, are more dog like. The NWFC is not a fan of noise and chaos. At all. The ragdoll will tolerate anything.
Snowshoes!
I’ve had a Siamese for about 5 months and she’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever had and she loves my other cat
I'll go for the Wilford Brimley cat
If you want a pet,not to show and just be an adorable loving companion. Doll face Persians are prettier in my opinion. They are not completely smashed. Face. But it keeps them from having respiratory problems. They are generally less than half the price, because they cannot show and people who raise them generally raise them out of love not blue ribbons. 🦁🦁🦁
Scottish folds are so placid and 'lazy' because the same genetic defect that causes their ears to fold causes cartilage in their joints to not form properly (this is why their ears don't stand up, the cartilage is badly formed) and moving around and being more active causes them great pain. Cats hide their pain – this is part of why a lot of people don't realize they are sick until it's too late – and the folds are no exception. People think they're adorable and sweet, but what you have is a cat that is in terrible pain constantly and just lies there placidly because doing anything else hurts more. Please do not encourage the breeding of unhealthy, suffering animals.
I had a siamese/ ragdoll and he was just the best so chill but also my shadow. I miss him all the time.
Oops! Forgot the Bombay cat. The ones who follow you everywhere in the house. Rather than bonding with a single individual, they are affectionate toward everyone they know
So tabby cats didn't make the list?
Don’t buy Scottish folds. Their small floppy ears is the result of a genetic condition that can cause them to have short and painful lives.
Personally, all cat breeds can be friendly from the common backstreet cuties to expensive luxury Sphinxes! It could depend on how they were cared for when smaller.
Wondering Chase is what type?
Mine was black and white and was very nice
Ragdoll are the best
After our two dogs passed and kids moved out my husband rescues a kitten at work. She was 16 ft up of 40 foot tree and the owner of the home said she had been up their for 5 days and he was going to shoot it. His two dogs , pit bull and German Shepherd had been at the base barking. My husband rescued her before lunch. The owner was coming around the house with a .45 when my husband was driving off. We took her in and she turned out to be half Maine Coone. She's huge and is the smartest cat I've ever owned. The vet couldn't believe we found her the way we did. She thinks she got out of someone's home. No one answered the Facebook posts. So she's ours.
wow so lovely😍
# 1 BROWN TABBY (TIGER STRIPED) ! 😸❤️
Ragdolls
I love tabby cats, but other 'breeds' are wonderful too. That Abyssinian cat is absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I've seen one before. And Siamese cats are one of my favorites too!
"They get along nicely with other cats…" Then shows 2 cats ripping each other's faces off!!😆
Every cat but these cats is a good cat
I'm sorry but Persians are NOT friendly to strangers… they are completely indifferent, independent and avoid new people
Calicos are also very kind and affectionate I have one they like to play fetch and are kinda dog like but usually mine wants attention and acts like a kitten tho she is an adult she doesn’t like to be left alone calicos are also a great choice ❤
I would get a ragdoll, Siamese and main coon
Cats are very clever, lovely, friendly, smart, cute, adorable and lucky.
I love cats😍😍
