One thing bothering me from the video – the character movement is… weird. Floaty. Not as bad as Fallout/Skyrim but for a TPS feels wrong.

I pre-ordered this months ago after I played the demo from Steam Fest. Looks great!
This story premise reminds me of The Dig, the 1995 adventure game from LucasArts.
The game sounds interesting, but the starting plot is incredibly similar to the adventure game "The Dig" from Lucas Arts!
Environmental manipulation is what Atomic Heart was missing, a bunch of other stuff as well but this is what was stuck out like a sore thumb to me at least.
It's good to see that some Devs are still at least aware that it's an added dimension to gameplay that still warrants exploration/exploitation.

This combat is more akin to Spiders' games. Extremely similar. Even the animations of something as simple as.dodging
The environment and plot is similar to Returnal.
Seems derivative. If it ever comes to Gamepass I guess I could try it out.
The concept of a scientist leveling up through knowledge instead of grinding sounds noble.. Also, the elemental mechanics seem very interesting..

I played the demo during one of the fests and it was ok thought the character needed a bump in movement speed. Maybe $20 max, but anything more nah.
