I have a six month old rescue mutt. Wondering how long the crate training needs to be and how long she could be out of the crate in the house? Thank you
Thank you!
Tapping the crate worked perfectly. Saved my sanity. Why did I never think of that???? 😂 So far so good. I haven't kicked her out of the house yet😂 dogs can drive you crazy sometimes. Thanks for this!!!
So happy I found your video. I rescued a 7 month old Cane Corso, and I didn't want to add to her anxiety by pushing the crate training. I wanted her to feel safe and build he confidence before demanding too much from her. Her training is going amazing and I figure she can handle trying crate training. Love your ideas on the frozen kongs and bones with marrow. I know she will be successful. Thank you
How long should a crate session last?
Our puppy likes the crate, but the moment we leave the room he starks to squeak non stop.
My 10 week old boston terrier will pee or poop in her crate even if i know she has been out and peed etc . How do i stop this? The crate is not too big but she does not seem to care !!
Can I use this same method for an outdoor dog run on the side of my house?
My dog always ignores his chew foods/toys and chews on the bars and destroys pillows. How do we fix that?
Cage/crate training is cruel and banned in many European countries. PETA also doesn’t support this insane, lazy, cruel method.
KNOCK IT OFF!
I just got my puppy 2 days ago, he whine and howls all night its so fustrating and i dont know how to train him not to whine. Even after a walk i wil l put him in there and he just whines and im so tired from it and i want him to go in there when i tell him but he dosent.
Great video! I appreciate your work man, blessings 👍
My dog was 6 months old when I adopted her. She is now 8mo. She chews on her crate bedding. She’s a lab mix and I think she needs thicker padding; I try to accommodate but this issue continues.
What kind of bed, and chewy and crate would a maltese shizu like.
What are some things to fill up the kong with?
What if you’re trying to prevent the puppy from chewing bedding? Does this slow the process when it isn’t as comfortable because there isn’t a soft surface?
Great teaching. Thanks ❤
Can I apply this to using let's say a bathroom as a crate? And if so is it best to do it with a grated toddler door or is it possible to close the actual bathroom door.
Do you put a water bowl in the crate? Do you feed the puppy in her crate.
I love the use of frozen Kongs, This is great tool to help with not creating separation anxiety.
I have a 12mo old Shiba. Are these items safe for her at this age? thank you. Have really learned a lot from your videos and look forward to a well adjusted shiba.
…. He was already crate trained…. I have a dog that won’t walk in and just takes whatever treat is inside and walks it’s outside…. Help
You are definitely the best dog trainer. I do have a question…… my puppy is 8 weeks old. We collected him yesterday. Is this too young to crate train him? Many of the treats I’ve tried to buy aren’t suitable for puppies under 12 weeks. Thank you
