I think Isolation 2 should have some Colonial Marines segments where the player can get into action for a bit and still make it a survival horror. Have a balance of horror and action like RE4make but still maybe look at how RE2make did it. Maybe have two main characters to play as.
Let's hope it's an incredible leap forward in graphics and models. That the gritty realistic feel and adherence to the look and feel of the films is kept. And that it's NOT woke.
This is alot but hear me out (Based off of a dream i had one night)This is way out there but imagine a multi-player set up where players go out an about the station looking for resources and items/food weapons to bring back to their bases that are safe from threat. setup in the station where they decide (think axel's hole in the wall). as players inevitably get taken out by the xeno, joes, environment, those players join the ranks of the xenos setting up traps and ambushes to pick of the survivors stealthing out of the save havens in search of goods. Once a final survivor is left the xeno players get a pereodic hint of the last man standings rough position in the station, a race to take them out as they attempt one of a few different win conditions to keep xenos geussing. escape/try to blow up the station or something like that, finding ways to stealth and repel the xenos trying to sneak their way out with distractions or guns/flamethrower a blazing when discovered. Survivors can communicate with eachother via limited proximity chat and loot-able comlinks. Xeno players hive mind allows unlimited game chat regardless of location. Humans Working together or against eachother for the shot at the win, xenos plotting to pick them off in various ways and actively pursuing the last man standing who would have access by then to a amanda like inventory of items to distract and repel the xenos

I think they should ignore the books they don't sound very good. But if it's not Amanda then an idea I heard was that the game could be about newt before the arrival of Ripley and the others . That could be good a bit like little nightmares but set in the alien universe. But Maybe thst could better as a dlc or something like that as I'd prefer a direct sequel to be honest
What I’d like to see is the comics adapted into the game love to play as zula Hendricks before/ during the events of Sevastopol aliens defiance then take control of Amanda aliens resistance yes I know the vr is coming with Zula but I’d rather play a premium game with her in it rather than a vr and potentially having the 3rd game if it does well we get the backstory on how Amanda got married and those other comics like the Weyland whistleblower the comics or well at least taking inspiration from them is a gold mind I don’t wanna see the sequel go the first game route if I wanted to hide from the alien not being able to

I really really hope they add Shaw as a playable character in survivor mode…maybe even bring in the Deacon as a Shaw chapter? Like a spin off of the ending of Prometheus with the Deacon? If not and I can play as Shaw somehow in survivor mode thats enough. I would be so happy to see something like that. Or even better…a whole game.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I always thought they needed to get away from Ripley. It's always Ripley or a Ripley clone. I know she's iconic but come on. I always thought they could have done this exact story with another person… say Dallas or even parkers daughter. The second movie closed the loop with Amanda Ripley. No need to retcon her!

From what I remember, I think the timeline for this would make sense, but an Alien Isolation 2 that continues the story of Amanda and her possible trip to the Renaissance Station where the Big Chap was taken and the whole station fell apart. It would be right before the events of Alien Romulus taking place. She could have found out what was going on there and decided to go to stop it.

Another game very similar "game play" but a new story! Anything basic would be fine…I mean gosh,I could come up with a new story and game goals….ssoo creepy playing this! Walking thru space hospitals with people walking around freaking out! Killer working Joe's, Let's go!! Make it!! We will pay$$$ JUST MAKE IT….please

Yeah if the sequel is done like James Cameron’s Aliens but with a dash of resident evil where every piece of ammo has to count & if you run out you’re in big trouble especially if surrounded by Xenomorph Warriors or facing down the Queen
Can u imagine ( obviously not happening sadly ) but if the last decade they were working an an AI 2 with like 50+ hour campaign insanely improved and new ai though it’s already amazing and on UE5 🥵🤯
