The hype cycle will gladly make way towards the "hate cycle" when GTA VI ends up getting the same treatment as RDR2 and GTA V did. Great story mode, but no DLC and Online will be the mainstay at the expense of ANYTHING with regards to Story Mode or even updates. And let's be honest, as much as we may love Rockstar for the stories and gameplay they deliver in these games, the lack of post-release content and full focus on Online and further bare minimum efforts on old games just keeps destroying any goodwill they get.
It sort of ends up being a "love/hate relationship", except that GTA VI isn't out yet, so there's yet time for them to disappoint in some way. Well, if you're a PC gamer, then they've already managed to disappoint you because you KNOW it's not coming to PC in 2025. We'll be lucky if it DOES at least come out in 2026. And if you're a console gamer, then you might be rightfully miffed if they RERELEASE a more "definitive edition" for the revisions of the Xbox Series X and/or PS5 because Microsoft plans to release their new Xbox before Sony in 2025. Cue a repeat of "GTA V on Xbox One/PS4 vs Xbox 360/PS3".
Also, I feel bad for Youtubers. This is the type of game where big channels who get views for playing a game won’t get much. every single subscriber will be too busy playing 6

This game looks like more "woke" propaganda from the AAA video game industry. I'm sure the graphics are great and the gameplay is fun, but it's most certainly a means of manipulating public opinion and normalizing certain behaviors through a video game and they're incredibly brazen about it.
