Question: when your equipment is returned to you, do you keep the equipment you picked up on Evantide?
I went wandering over there with maybe 6 hearts, had no idea what I was doing or what I was getting myself into 😂. Died a few times and just knew I not anywhere near ready.
Came back much much stronger and wiser (about 90 shrines wiser) and did it on my second attempt.
Fun Fact: You don’t have to kill the Hinox to get the Orb, Just shoot him in the eye (if you have 1 Arrow left with your bow) and then hit the orb once he sits down getting stunned for a few seconds. It’ll get off of him easily and quickly pick up the orb. Literally what I just did on my first try on that Island to get that last orb. Then, after I got all the 3 orbs and got my items back, I beated the living shit out of him lol
This was my favorite part of the game
Grrr, am I the only one that fought the Hinox mini boss using a lot of Bombs thinking that it was the only way to get the orb???

By far this is the most reliable video I've found. Your move is so flawless and proved that you don't really need anything to accomplish the tasks. You encourage me to go back there, I'll try follow your steps. This is just my playstyle! I always run from unneccessary fights, I'm low on hearts but high on stamina. I'll try to outrun the enemies as you do. Thanks in advance.

I hated that quest so much.
Is it just me but eventide took me like 15 minutes
I dropped my weapons and stuff on a cryonis block on the island's shore. So i was able to go and pick them up after the challenge started and have all of my weapons/bows/shields during the quest (except the master sword but I had the Boulder Breaker which DESTROYED the Hinox combined with Urbosa's fury)
This quest is always annoying, especially on Master mode. I just avoided fighting and just focused on getting the orbs. Mipha and Revoli abilities really helped here for me.
I took a raft from the Major Test of Strength Shrine, took out the group on the beach, drop off your favorite weapon, shield and materials before getting off the raft, and you can finish it before the next
I wa so close, but then an explosion blew the last orb off the cliff and into the ocean. FML.

finally cleared the first area and started on a second, and the friggin ' blood moon happened respawning everything.. sigh.
Always killed the Hinox here. Rolled boulders onto him, shot him in the eye with arrows, bombs until he was nothing but guts on the sand
3:44 — I've been trying to use stasis+ on that first challenge and missing big time.. and here comes this guy using the cryonis to get the ball up there… great tip!

I travelled to this island with only 8 hearts, thinking it was some random island.. hoo boy was I wrong and unprepared slsklsb I died right away

I don't know how but I managed to make the hilnox unable to move in some bush and stuff so I hit his crotch from half of his health till he died
Any weapons you stash will be lost once you complete the challenge FYI.
Use the octo rock at the NW end (near raft) to refresh the rusty broadsword and shield. Both are high quality weapons. Use magnesis to find them if thrown into the ocean. There are two chests in the ocean on that end of the island containing a zora shield and spear as well 😜 Use cryonis and magnesis to find them.

I got there by spamming ice blocks over the ocean and going on them til I got there
Just drop some weapon and items before enter the seashore.
Go to the seashore and message will appear.
Then go back and collect your things.
This question could be a good demo of the game.
Just did this and I haven't even done the first questseek out impa lol I did this with 4 hearts took me 4 tries but 4 very frustrating tries

An easy way to kill the Blue Hinox (Black Hinox on Master Mode) is to circle him, and when he tries to slap you, keep hitting his hands. Takes a while, but very easy.
Um please help… Kinda didn't know I was supposed to put the Hinox's orb on the smaller mountain and I basically effed it all up and… Now I'm stuck with the Hinox's orb and I have to get it up the super tall mountain ._. Any advice on how to get it up there?
