I'd like indy games more, if the majority of them were not retro style games. I'm too old for that shit. I support indy games as long as its not some shitty survival game, 8 bit retro stuff. One Hotline Miami and one Brigadore is enough. I agree aaa is kinda shit. But I'd like something visually modern. Both in tech and art style. It's wishful thinking but would be nice
7:03 sums my opinions up perfectly. I was initially drawn to this game for the traversal (even wished this was a 3d platformer instead) and was put off by most everything else I've seen in playthroughs. The demo gave me everything I wanted.
I played the game completely through the storyline with a RTX 4090 on 4K/60 fps and didn´t try so far with my "old" RTX 3090 Rig. But the requirements are much to high for the given graphics quality. They should have taken the Unreal Engine instead – otherwise it´s the same issue as with all those Far Cry games on the Dunia Engine – it´s simply a "second" choice for that type of games.

It's got that modern girl boss vibe and such an arrogant, douchy, and just unlikable and insufferable protagonist! 😅😆😮💨 like holy hell, she's miserable and just kind of an awful person. Writers equate that to strong woman character apparently! A character with more compassion and an arc wuld be much better for modern characters! 😅 it felt so goodl to hear that one poor girl call out the narcissistic bs and shitty attitude! The main character doesn't like evolve at all and is just so annoying!

it's not because the developers are American you shouldn't criticize them lol.
even if the game is buggy as hell modern games can actually update it so they can bugfix most bugs
but the problem is the scripts itself, which isn't easily fixable on the spot. you probably would hire some voice actors again, re-input them on scenes or MAKE new scenes.
the problem is this isn't just one section of the story, this is one CHARACTER of the whole story. did I say this is the main character?
