This is kind of ridiculous. Our cats know what they want and we know what they want. This banter a bit too far.
There is nothing like coming home and being greeted by my fur baby. I have learned what my cats like and don't like. They are easy to re-direct although stubborn or almost incapable of understanding the word "No" when it comes to expressing their various desire to go outside. Scented litter makes me nauseous and should not be allowed on the market.
I got myself two cats, litter brothers, back in 2015/2016; I don't remember which year. This was after my wife passed away due to cancer. I was depressed, and under much stress and duress. I was yelling alot in the house. I have calmed down alot, but I am on anti depressant medication since 2019. I am glad I found this video. I am still yelling, I am under much stress again. I have a slug of a roommate, who is always playing games with the rent money. But I am still glad I found this video, and I have to control myself inside my household.

How could anyone come home and not greet their kitty right away ? My cat used to run home when he heard my car, greet me, then go out again. We had such a strong bond. Tiger was born next to me and passed next to me. He was 16 and I miss him so much. I dream about him a lot, so he still visits me. I HATE laser pointers because it frustrates them as there's no prize at the end of the rainbow. Sure, you can add a treat, but it's not the same.

I trapped 2 feral cats in my basement after the one was hurt. Its a mother and son. The son has become my bff and she gets SO jealous when he prefers my attention over hers.

Invading their spaces…alone time? I have 2 very large Maine Coons and they are bossy and very intrusive. Example, if i try to close the bathroom door, they will bang it down just to fight over who sits on my lap…i known gross.. but try to tell two 20pd cats no and tell me how that works out for you. Then i get [stage fright] and find myself sneaking around just to do my business. So anytime i see them in the litter box i start to pet them. Nights are worse, they must have seen ALIENS because the become….face huggers.. on the wife and me. So if their being lazy at 2pm…love time, ill rub my nose against theirs ect. Maine Coons are amazing dog like cats and love them deeply but fair is fair

I'm a first time cat owner. I never know if I'm doing good. My boy has treats, toys, trees, scratch posts, his own bathroom, and a window perch.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed. He's a year old and I've yelled at him twice. The first time I felt bad. Second time I vowed to never do it again.

One day, a few years ago, I went out late in the afternoon and didn't return until very late as I had a meeting to attend. This is something I had never done before. When I came home all three cats and my dog were waiting for me. All of them showed a sense of relief in their faces and dispersed upon realizing I was back. (The dog stuck around as he needed to go out.)
