He's goes anywhere I go 98% of the time. (At least if it's possible).
Sometimes when I think I was able to sneak out, when he's asleep, it usually doesn't take even minutes and I hear him tap-taping after me and miaowing and calling.
I should have named him Privacy, then at least I had some. 😂😂

I think all humans and animals need to put their feet on the earth to ground. Many people say they feel much better when they ground to the earth. We supposedly can discharge electrical currents to the earth. My kitties were happier when they cold go outside, but since my baby girl came up missing, I don’t let my baby boy go outside, and he cries every day to get out.
Jackson, I need to know where you got that video of the tuxedo kitty. It looks exactly like my missing kitty Charlie. My kitty had the exact same white markings on her face. I don’t live near the road, and let my kitties play outside during the day, but they could use the doggy door to come and go. One night, I didn’t close the doggy door, and she wasn’t here the next morning waiting on her breakfast as usual. She never missed a meal, or left the yard. I called and called. I even hired a drone service and spent money posting her on social media. I’m completely devastated. This happened on Aug. 4th 2024, and I haven’t seen her since. I have offered a $1000 reward and I cry every day because she’s gone and it’s all my fault. I feel like I’m living a nightmare because she’s gone and she was very special to me. That kitty looks just like her. 😢
Our cat though we love him has to be just about the most hopeless cat in the world. He's bad at playing, doesn't follow the schedule, unadventurous with food, scared of everything, loves to bite too hard, and is painfully dumb. He will come to visit me for his lunchtime snack, greet me in the hallway if I happen to be there, and then proceed to my office where he will wait for several minutes after being called before coming down. He will beg for food and not eat it when given a little to try. When presented with the only food besides his wet food that he enjoys – cream cheese – he will look away, seemingly in a trance, sometimes for so long you have to shout and snap your fingers to get him to actually eat it. His way of "playing" is to walk away from you, rubbing his face on everything, going into places where you can't reach him, and not responding to anything except your hand if it gets close, then he wants to bite it. That's the only play he enjoys. And he begs for this ridiculous activity several times a day. He doesn't like toys and he doesn't like being picked up (though he's getting better). He likes food, biting us, and pets, but only on the top of his head.
All cats need to be indoors and outdoors with leash or stroller.
If I used the leash training they won’t be scared of running away

I just entered my cat phase again today after months of being a dog person. My cat is laying on my legs as I do this, I love my Lynxie baby. I hung up a swingy toy for him to use at night instead of bothering me, which is nice. I plan on reworking my room to fit his needs.

We were kind of on the fence about keeping our cats strictly indoors or not, so we were cautious and let them out every once in a while with a GPS tracker. That was until my cat decided to enter our neighbors backyard, and her dogs got him and sadly he didn’t make it out alive. This was such a traumatic experience. I am still not over it, nor will I ever be. I just wished I would have protected him better, but hindsight is 20/20. I would do anything to have him back, my cats are my babies.
My cats have a “catio” now and I will never let my cats outside again.
I leave self play toys out at night….i go around and pick up all the little plastic balls and put them out in the living room, she plays all night with those like crazy. In the morning, first thing…sadly even before coffee….she eats. Then i play ball with her, then she sleeps for hours. rinse repeat all day. Im not sure why she really only wants to play with my grandkids ballpit balls lol.

If we let all cats free roam outdoors it becomes harder to guess who's just out on a day trip and who's homeless until they're already covered in dirt and flees and are malnourished have wounds that aren't healing etc also why not just keep your baby safe Inside
Can you do feeding times after they have the habit of free feeding for years? I have 6 cats and one is very overweight so I'm not a fan of the free feeding.

I need help!!!! About five years ago my son was going through some very challenging times. His therapist thought that getting him a cat would help. And it did. Even though I’m highly allergic to cats, we got Suki. Suki is highly attached to my son. I didn’t spend time playing with Suki because he had plenty of play time with both my son and daughter. Unfortunately, now my son is living some where else and drops by once a week. He can’t take Suki with him. My daughter is traveling for a year. So now I’m home with Suki. I’m trying my best to keep him happy. But I’m afraid to pick him up. He has hissed at me so I’m even fearful of petting him. Now he’s peeing in inappropriate places! All my friends tell me to get rid of him but that’s not right. At some point my son or daughter will be able to move him to wherever they live. It will be in about one year. What do I do???!!!! How can I make him happy? I’ve bought him toys and have tried playing with him daily but he’s not interested in me. He only calls me when he wants a to eat. I want to be able to put him on my lap and have him relax when I watch tv. This is what he does with my son. What can I do??!!

I feel like the best option for a cat is primarily indoors, especially at night. They can go out on their own and explore/socialise but I'd never want mine straying too far and risking abuse or animal attack or getting hit by a car.
I got a "set" of cats for my daughter's 10th Christmas (she was 10 & a half, & the 2 cats were brother & sister, & about 3 & a half). The boy (Tiger) fell in love with helium balloons. He really couldn't get to the balloons. But he'd jump up, catch the balloon ribbon between his feet, grab the ribbon in his teeth, & pull it around the room. One day he grabbed her mylar Tasmanian Devil balloon & ran into my daughter's bedroom, back out into the living room, & under a chair! When it came to the balloon, it stuck while going under the chair & flipped him around when he came to the end!!! 😂😂😂 Your sound left just a couple of seconds ago! 😮
Thanks Jackson! Adding stucture and playtime seems to be helping tremendously. Our 11yo male burmese has kept me awake for YEARS. You saying "dog owners have a leash, cat owners have toys" opened my eyes. I'll rather take 4x15min or whatever from my day to play with our two cats rather than lose hours of sleep every night. And only feeding after play. I'll keep doing this experiment and see where it takes our family! Otherwise we have plenty of climbing, scrathing and hiding possibilities in our apartment.

Never was a fan of cats …. Till one day a little bundle of joy was left by my dumpster area and i couldn't leave him out there in the cold …. The next day i knew ….. I could never get rid of this little Angel…. Now im here looking at cat videos to make sure i give him a good life
