Gave up fifa years ago as its literal cash-grab dogshit that gets worse with each iteration, especially the single player experience.
I want to like this game, but the fact that it just looks like a fifa game from a few years ago is so off putting. It's not just the gameplay, but even the menus and UI is a blatant rip off. Put your own mark on it ffs and make it different.
To be fair, the game is too awful, sometimes its literally unplayable, they should have released it much later, it has too many gameplay cons, and is a lot of pay to win and it has the same AI defending relying problem as recent EAFC and FIFAs

That could change and one would hope it does, we need a football game that is actually good, but as it stands sad to say I tried it and it’s not worth the time currently
FIFA when it first came out was truly awful. Like, really really bad.. for years. ISO metric pitches, shots that flew in from the halfway line, every time, animations crippled by the lack of available technology.. pro evolution was king for a long time, which was international star soccer before that. My mates and I used to play 45 minute a half matches on fifa and get 30+ goals each.. sometimes up to 100 goals a game
It took over a decade for FIFA to really gain any significant traction.
I happen to dislike FIFA a lot anyway for almost a decade now, I prefer before they really became big.
This new UFL game shows massive promise as right now it’s a unpolished FIFA but that’s a huge compliment and if they keep the free to play element and fix the areas that need improving, future looks bright for the game
This ultimate team mode has killed proper football games . A good old career mode with realism rather than this grind mechanics . Football games are dying
I might be crazy but this could be better than Efootball/PES25 the gameplay is nuch better than that game but not better than FC25
