My kitten now sleeps on the chair I sit in during the day: warm (residual body heat),protected (the arms and back of the chair leave only above and the front open) and close to 'daddy' (I turn the chair to 'look' towards the bed, and I wake her up by moving sometimes, so the chair negates that)
And after I started to care for her, I started to calm mentally as I care more for her then myself
I don't sleep with my cat, it's more like She allows me to sleep with Her.

We're doing a study on cats that sleep too much, based in Arizona. Yesterday, a cat was sleeping cross-legged, eyes closed 5/16/24 I woke it up and put my little dog in front of it to see if it would freak out but it was casual. Afterwards, they put a bigger canine & that is when it jumped `10 feet in the air, like a trampoline-I love cats.
I don't know how I ended up here. I don't have a cat. But good video I guess.
Sleeping with my cat (cats) is essential for my mental health since I live alone and seldom have any company over. My Tiger will come to me at different times of the night to remind me he still loves me. Although he is not a substitute for sleeping with a woman, he does help me to make it alone.
