Bought it to play with my girlfriend 1 month ago. Hands down our Game of the year. The details / atmosphere is just incredible
I just finished this game and it was an easy 9. This guy complained because he was too stupid and took him too long to solve the puzzles, afraid of the dark, and called the boss fight with Eddie one of the best in the game. Surprised he gave it an 8 which is more than I was expecting based on the way he was describing his experience. But maybe have someone who actually loves horror games with a good story, because the fact this guy called it subpar shows how much this guy doesn't know wtf he's talking about.

I didn't know what to expect from the game when I pre-ordered it. I wanted it to be good but I didn't know it would be THAT good. I loved every second of it and I can't wait for Bloober Team to make another game, Silent Hill or not.

8 out of 10??? It's the most boring, grey, slow game I've played in years. You just slowly trundle along through either fog or dirty dark interiors with no sense of direction.. the exploration is so repetitive and unrewarding… the combat is awful you basically can either spam attack or hold it down for a sec to do a heavy attack or you can dodge. I love survival horror but this is just so incredibly boring and dull to even look at. Callisto Protocol was actually a lot more fun for at least 1 play through abd and thats saying a lot. Wish i could get a refund this game sucks ass.
