I love that with all the layers and the technique. TFS
This is one of my faves. Sooo cool!
Another great creation, Shel C. I love the denseness of the design, but I’m sad that the pretty design of the original paper is lost.
Did you make your white gesso in the jar? If so can you share how? I like what you did.
This turned out very cool. I love using the exclusion technique is always looks so effective and always so unique xx
Hi Shel. I’m in catch-up mode. This was a fun process to watch, too! Great idea to use those last few pages of your little journal. 😀
So much movement on a flat piece of card.
I love this page Shel. Love when you do exclusion because I know that it's going to be very colorful. This design would make a wonderful wall hanging or print. Thanks for sharing and please stay safe.
Fun stuff Shel! Can you tell us what is that fine tip tool you use at the end to make the black accents?
I love this Shel, this is something I can do and even like the results. Thanks
Shel – Life has been distracting – and I have not been doing art. Today, I said – I know – I'll go see what Shel is up to. As always – watching you create lights a fire in me. You have a way of inviting me to just play. Your art is amazing – AND – you have such a beautiful way of teaching and encouraging. A whole month of abstracts? Yay! Thanks so much! Hope you and your family are well. Blessings!
Great technique!!
Fab art journal page!! 🙂 Have a nice weekend Shel!
It always amazes me how brave you are when you just keep adding layer after layer and don’t fret about what gets covered up. Another beautiful creation.
One of my favorites!
I love everything about this!! I definitely will give this a go! thanks so much for sharing with all of us! Hugs, GinaB♥
Loved watching this evolve.
I absolutely love the geometric shapes also. That is probably one of my favorite things to use. I've been wanting to do that negative painting technique but I have a hard time covering up the majority of my background after I worked so hard to make it. I guess I could take a pic of it though and get that printed out.
Shel where you get that large size color wheel? I love that size. Mine is so much smaller and I'd rather have a larger one.
Girl are you getting sick? I noticed how out of breath you were. Take care of yourself. You are trying to take care of everybody else and you have nobody helping you.
This is so awesome, I love this idea tfs Shel…Kia Kaha…
Love this one I will try one to hang in my dining room lol plates
I have done the negative or exclusion painting before and like it. I really like that you did not make the negative space completely covered and let some of that background show through. Cool technique. I really like the piece!
It is fantastic. Great idea. Big hugs
💞💞💞💞💞💞
The original red/orange background you started with kept sticking in my mind while you were doing all those other layers. It kind of was was there even when it didn't show. And then the theme of it – the intersecting circles – was there again in the finished product. A very interesting journey to follow! (And I love circles 🙂
Very cool page. Thank you for sharing
I always enjoy your art journal creations.
This is so awesome!
Shel, this is awesome. See you next time 💜💜💜✌✌Sherry
Great abstract! Love the technique and especially how you muted the background! TFS!!
That mark making tool you made with the bottle caps on styrofoam is a great idea! Hope you don’t mind if I copy it! I’m enjoying this series!
Love all the colors❣️love the page💗💗💗💗
Love this Shel your so creative awesome 👏🏽
I like that exclusion technique!
Lol okay so we don’t keep adding to our cards we do them separately daily 🤦🏽♀️
