ok, but it is getting bigger every time light is shined on it, or a meteorite hits it… not much… and it is kinda losing equal amounts by being SHINY. or am I stupid?
MORE or less the Earth has shrinked a bit when the Moon got formed because of a huge asteroid hitting us. Not a lot, but still. But growing? 🤣🤣🤣
I am a high school student and with in a minute my thought was like how did water appear and what about the first law of thermodynamics.
5:48 Not quite. Matter, and even mass, can be created or destroyed, for instance in a nuclear reaction. What is indeed conserved is energy, which can take the form of matter.
…I'd hate to inform this guy that the Appalachians are literally one if the oldest things on the planet. I live here and it feels like it, too. I could stumble across a fuckin' triceratops while walking through the woods and I'd just be mildly surprised
I think it's all bullcrap. The people of the future will look back and laugh at us, and the people after them will do the same. The only thing we know for sure is that we don't know anything.
Thinking about this theory now, it would make no sense as the Earth would be too small and not hold enough water to hold life. Also, where would the billions of gallons of water come from after the expansion?
My question to to this person would be where's the mass coming from? if the earth is growing where is it getting the extra mass to achieve growth.
Im giggling so much at these comments. Im not an astronomer or a geologist, I'm actually a nurse by trade but I am also a space nerd so I thought I'd offer this bit of info! A really important quality of Earth is our liquid mantle. Roughly speaking, not only do the continents slide around on this liquid mantle, but the spinning of the molten rock is what generates our magnetic field, which keeps us safe from bad stuff like solar wind and radition. Mars, in comparison, has a solid mantle and, as a consequence, also has little to no magnetic field and also no plate tectonics!
As for the field I'm actually qualified to speak about regarding the human body, a number of our biological systems are fine tuned to work under the pressure and gravity we have now and there would likely be some record of human adaptation outside of regular evolution. We are just beginning to understand what zero gravity environments do to the human body, but it's clear it has a profound effect on the way our body balances fluids and our cardiovascular systems. This effect would likely be profound enough that over the time period discussed, physiological adaptations would be clear.
as an unemployed student with no qualifications if theres was no ocean early on then there were no fishi where did every creature ever come from if there were no fishi
The moment I see his intro, I am locked in on only one fault: "I really wish I knew what he thought was under the oceans. I bet it's one of those sponge toys that grow from a pill when you add water. "
Wouldn't an expanding planet mean that we would get pushed out of the atmosphere some day?
Grave digger here: if the world is expanding then why isn't my cemetery getting bigger, and all the intered remains are still at the same level they were buried at?
Wow, that's actually one I haven't heard before.
Coming from the bottom of the North Island of New Zealand you can imagine how surprised I was to hear there is no subduction and not plate tectonics.
Nice video
If he says it's fake it's probably true because he's gay
Im confused as to why "they" would want to hide the fact the earth is growing? Like why would mainstream scientists and goverments want to push pangea over the "truth"? What are they getting from it?
I wish our planet was growing and gaining mass, more land, more resources, nigh infinite potential
But alas, it's just a flight of fancy
11:!9 When you said that i would be able to notice wrong things from my own nichest of fields in science, you were godamn right. Platypuses were roaming around in this era of earth? Well the, where the fuck were the fish at
The Law of conservation of mass alone disproves this
19:02 this map shows Mongolia as a part of china 😭😭😭
Would never have guessed that one of the most important comic book artists of all time was also a loon
30:00 ever wonder how Elephants and big game survived the ice age, but we couldnt, according to science we came out of Africa, all of us, not that we could have survived in isolated pockets. They are so sure of themselves. Humanity would have been bottlenecked sure, but if elephants survived, then we would have followed them, hunting them and eating what they were eating. Where big game survived and lives on, are the refuges for humanity, if you can sustain a hippo and elephant, you can sustain a few people. India, Africa, the Mediterranean, America, Asia, they all have big game wildlife, so there were refuges all over
i didnt even know this was a thing, it was some idea i threw out in 4D expansion, that explains why down is down, i call it translation theory, because at the centre of mass you translate at the same rate as any massive object, would be weird if you could time travel back 65 million years with your current time dilation in spacetime, it would all seem smaller to you. Would be funny if you went back and a Dinosaur was chicken sized to you. This is what the big bang model says is possible tho..
The whole universe expands in the 4th dimension. Do you understand the big bang? The bubble either inflates, or it doesnt, but it seems like it does
Now if you take Einstein and Minkowski’s approach and make a time cone out of the universe, you see how it is expanding, cut the cone in half by volume and its only 20% smaller, any slice across the horizon is going to be an orbit. In Non Euclidean space an orbit of the big bang, and observable universe take the same time.
I unite Einstein, Minkowski and Euclid, and can show how straight lines in space are curved by the 4th dimension. Mapping space in 3D it is conical, Not spherical, I even unite Flat Earth to the mix, placing the universe at the centre of a black hole, it explains how and why it expands, bringing Hawking into the mix. Uniting everyone into one theory I can explain orbital mechanics, the big bang that never happened, and why the universe expands without needing dark energy to fudge my numbers.
As the singularity evaporates it inflates, everything with mass fills the void at the same scale, it always seems 13 billion years to a big bang or 46 billion light years to the CMB, they are the same event, they are the big bangs ice wall, you cant see past it because the map of the observable universe and the Gleason map, need to follow the observer to be useful.
Flat Earth and the Big Bang are both at odds with what happens when the math stops mathing. I can show, that if you make a 3D map of the universe you can cut the cone across the horizon as small as you like, scale it and it always looks like the same cone. Orbital mechanics are the true constant in the universe. If it truly was inflating then stars would expand and swallow their solar systems. Orbits would decay so fast. Everything seems to be expanding but as everything expands at the same rate, nothing actually moves, you can see the change over time as light is massless, it doesnt need to conform, but even empty space has mass and energy. It all scales in time.
If you cancel your orbital velocity around the earth, you fall to its core, delete the planet and you take the same path it does in spacetime, cancel out your velocity to the sun and do the same, you take its path, cancel out the relative velocity of every star and galaxy, which way do you fall?? Do you fall to the big bang, is the only direction left to travel, which way is down at this point? Time ticks forward. different for every observer, depending how much space is distorted. Time dilation is Non Euclidean space, its the same thing. 13 billion years ago a second for you would be like 13 billion years now..
Every time you cancelled out your momentum you fell in a straight path to the next nearest massive object, but from another perspective its a curved path. It is Non Euclidean in nature, when you see curve in the planet, its actually the curve in the 4th dimension you are seeing, you know oceans flatten out, flat.. but you cant rationalise curved space without curved lines.
If we had a bridge from LA to Dubai, flat in time, its parallel to the ocean, it curves around the planet. It is flat geometry as space and time allow. If you had a glass factory making a 1mm thick glass rod that extended onto the bridge via V shaped spinning rollers, supported every 30cm or so, how far can the rod be extended without breaking? it should be able to wrap right around the planet, and still roll laterally, it curved with time but its flat in spacetime.
If you had a bit of H bar going from the north to south pole, you know those heavy duty iron girders that are H or I shaped, what happens if you flip it over, do both ends rise up into space? think about the logic there, it was supported equally along the bridge, its weight distributed the same, now all of a sudden you think its plastically deformed and both ends lift into space, now it all balances on a single point in the middle of the bar.
Our minds dont run on such big scales but it is flat on the horizon. If you drill from A to B as the samdworm swims, its not a straight line in space or time, mapped on a 3D cone of potential it shows both ends is like jumping into a pit, it flattens and ends in a climb, the flattest route is the horizon, i bet if you flatten my cone out for density, it shows that coring thru the planet isnt even the shortest route in spacetime
Space and time scale
A line flat in time is flat in spacetime, if you have mass.. Massless light doesnt do orbits, if it did most of the world would argue that it was flat, but what is flat in a curved universe. its all just a bubble of information, racing through a higher dimension, the big bang model is like a record playing infinitely, but before there is infinite void of nothing, and after will be an infinite quietness, how big is the record, is the void of nothing as irrelevant as the infinite something that is the universe.
i love when he said "is googledebunking time!" and googledebunked all over the place
As an IT Expert, I'm pretty sure there's no stretchy internet cables connecting Europe and America. If the earth were expanding exponentially, they'd be unreliable or broken by now, even if the Russians didn't get to them yet.
i ran a comic book shop for 18 years. I followed Neal on FB. You owe him no respect. his usual "proof" was that he must be right because no scientist would debate him.
To be fair, the Earth must have grown sometime. Planetary accretion is the generally accepted theory of how planets and stars form.
Obviously this is very different from the process this guy is describing but still, at some stage the Earth must have been growing bigger.
Took me a minute to work out what a googledy-bunker was.
Ok fed
