Man I should’ve known not to trust Rockstar and Take Two after EVERY one of their games for the past however many years has been delayed. Had so much hope that this was still on track but there’s no way if we don’t get a 2nd trailer this month.
I have a theory about what might happen with trailer 2. So as you know (and have tweeted) star is upping their marketing campaign for the new GTA V online DLC and at the same them the game awards are just around the corner. GTA 6 is nominated for most anticipated game and with no prior knowledge into the inner workings of rockstar, my theory is that I think they’re gonna win which is pretty obvious. And they’re gonna use the opportunity to probably generate hype for the new DLC 2 days after release showing a trailer and maybe at the end of the trailer they might have a few seconds of silence before a GTA 6 trailer 2 announcement for whenever. Reason I think they won’t actually show a trailer is because I don’t think the game awards have that much pull with rockstar. And it wouldn’t make sense in a marketing perspective because there’s been no build up other than that Easter egg that was spotted in the new dlc poster. Anyways, I can keep rambling, but I feel the more I ramble the more. I’m gonna sound like the classic GTA 6 schizophrenic so I’ll leave it there. Would love to hear what you think about my theory and or how you think I’m completely wrong and should be executed thinking the way I am

Deal with it boys its better to be prepared you wont be disappointed if there is no trailer this year there will be announcement delay 2026+ PC easily 2030+ and since there is big activity about UFO we probably never see GTA 6 trailer 2.
I don't think there is a reason to expect a trailer 2 until spring-25 ish.
I'm just on my phone atm, i tried to read up on previous titles and the release of trailer 2 in relation to the planned release date at the time. I think i got it right, but here it goes:)
V had its 2nd trailer released ~6 months ahead of the PLANNED release at the time.
RDR 2 had its 2nd trailer released 3-9 months ahead of the PLANNED release. (RDR had already been delayed once before the 2nd trailer, and so the uncertainty from R* at that point I suppose).
Anyway, we are 9-12 months out from the PLANNED release with VI. It's early compared to V with 6 months left. Looking at rdr 2, it was already delayed when trailer 2 came out but in theory they had 3-9 months of marketing left. Basically, they wanted the 2nd trailer out to fit that window (6 months would put us in the middle of 3 and 9 btw) With that said a trailer 2 for VI at this point is sort of optimistic.
In addition
V was set to release ~18 months after the first announcement.
RDR 2 ~9-12 months.
VI ~20-24 months (the wait for trailer 2 will be longer until there is only ~ 6 months left to planned release) (i know it only said 2025 at first, but since then the only thing pushed by T2 is fall 2025)
So that's what I think. Trailer 2 in spring. Sry if i messed any of the dates up.

Hmmm. With the way Rockstar Games got exposed for going woke, I don't think that releasing the second trailer for GTA VI would be a good idea. A lot of people might dislike the ad.

This has all been a mind control op. There is no GTA 6. They just want to see how long they can get us to wait and continue giving them marketing for their other projects.
