Started playing this recently and i had to come back and watch the intro again, one of the coolest i’ve seen in a very long time
Man, this intro was so cool, but then the game gets so uninteresting afterwards. If they had stuck with this sort of energy/pacing for the entirety of the game, and also kept letting Wukong be an actual character instead of a boring blank slate, I would have enjoyed it way more. And the gameplay felt so fun and exciting at first too, but then they take away almost all of your moves, give you a pointless stamina bar, an annoying MP bar ON TOP of ability cooldowns (Pick one or the other devs), and the lack of any sort of Block or Parry (that doesn’t cost MP) makes every fight feel like a dodge spamming party. 10/10 intro, 7.5/10 game.
To the chinese audience here on youtube, why Sun Wukong didn't used a blade or another weapon like sword for example, wouldn't be easy for him???

Okay. So watched this video at the beginning of my playthru. I am now, at the end. Well kind of I fucked it up I beat the broken shell first, then I moved to fight Erlang. Tough as he was he was still slayn. Now I'm going back to fight wukong all over again. Feels good to see where you started.
