5:21 watched a whole video on this idea. Yes it seems almost impossible how we got our exact circumstances to get this far but with the universe the size it is it is basically IMPOSSIBLE for uncountable other adjacent life forms to not exist out in the universe. So statistically speaking it is basically impossible for us to be alone in the universe. Our galaxy alone is brimming with life and our local supercluster has an unimaginable amount of life forms. For people who don’t believe in aliens I’m just letting you know you are subscribing to a supernatural notion that implies we are supernaturally alone.
Science happens everywhere, not just here in earth. We are not special even tho religions would have you believe we are very special. Religions arose in times of lesser knowledge, a time where we had to come up with an explanation for something we literally couldn’t explain with our knowledge so we made up things such as the sun being a god and the earth being an entire universe realm rather than a planet in space. Remember, we are NOT created in gods image, we do NOT know if there is even a god or not, AND WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE STATISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE AND RIDICULOUS FOR YOU TO THINK.
5:45 that not an alien that a human from all Tomorrow’s!
Nice symbolism my brother 😉
We have republicans so there was a mistake made somewhere cuz they are greedy, cruel and extremely dumb.🤣🤣
No dislike button…regurgitated AI crap.
old voice
A really developed and self aware A. I. will not look for natural life
It will search for another A.I.
That's why we cannot decipher the signals
I have a theory.
There was life in the universe.
However, for some yet to be discovered reasons, they all destroyed each other and went extinct.
Before that happens, a certain species did one last heroic mission to inject a life on a distant planet, which is now Earth, in hopes of developing life.
This is to prevent the Universe to become "lifeless."
But if this is the case, why can't we see any evidence of their existence?
The answer is simple. It took millions of years for life to develop on Earth that the remaining evidence on alien planets were simply swallowed by nature.
The only chance we can discover alien life is for us to literally go to Earth-like planets and start digging in hopes of finding ruins.
Or maybe they just simply destroyed each other to the point that they literally exploded their own planets. So yeah.
Who knows. Just a wild theory.
9:00 thats in my nightmares
'Dark Forest' stole from the 'The Killing Star'
The Fermi paradox is a stupid and unimaginative concept and humanity is far too impatient when it comes to exploring space and the universe. space is so unbelievably big and we are so small that it is very difficult to comprehend and at the moment we hardly even try to find intelligent life. we spend more money on pointless wars and our own greed than on exploring space and its secrets. and the idea that we are the only intelligent species in the Milky Way is incredibly arrogant and human-centered and earth-centric that it approximates an earth-centric solar system model in its stupidity. as if we were back in the Middle Ages and that the sun was "circling the earth". I find that idea and concept so stupid. it is like a desperate attempt to hold on to human uniqueness in the face of the vastness of the universe.
Our milky way has 70-80% red dwarfs, live there, forget it. Orange Dwarfs and Yellow dwarfs are perfect, K2V or G2V is perfect.
Me personally I'm rooting for the "humans are simply more advanced argument." Because I'm extremely racist to anything not of the Homo genus. Well, unless they wanna be friends like dogs, or if they're aliens willing to coexist and work with us, that's alright. Otherwise, zero tolerance.
Best explanation: We seem to be alone in the universe because every other intelligent race in our neighborhood had more than two functioning nuclear weapons when they had the first nuclear conflict.
If aliens are dumber then. We are The Aliens.
Here's a question what if aliens are friendly and a new alien type i would call is super alien's and they some day sent an message be quiet you will be doomed if the other aliens hear you.
The dark forest is terrifying to me because the way that there could be a bigger threat than aliens that the galaxy is terrified of is crazy to me
This artificial narration is the most disturbing part
It just so happens to be 2am 🕑
Isn't there is one theory that also says we are not in the right moments of our galaxy and universe and most civilisations would have lived a long time ago or a long time in the future to be stable
I like to believe our galaxy has poor nutritional value to whatever void predator is lurking out there, thus it leaves us alone because it's intelligent enough to know it would spend more resources getting here and consuming us than otherwise.
We have studied 20 million stars, and not one can support life as they are ALL too unstable, we are alone. The Sun is the only stable star. Also of the 4,300 solar system studies, not one looks like our solar system, able to support life. The Milky Way Galaxy is the only stable barred spiral galaxy. In other galaxies, there is no place for a rocky planet without deadly radiation or orbit interference. Earth’s vast and stable magnetic field is unique, most planets the magnetic field is short-lived or unstable. Earth’s magnetic field protects life from deadly radiation. The list can go on and on (rotation rate, astrosphere, right carbon dioxide, low carbon monoxide, one large moon, very low eccentricity). There are 5,759 confirmed exoplanets, not one looks like Earth or any of the planets in our solar system. We have looked and we are alone.
Is a rock an intelligent species or an octopus? Or the moon or the Sun? How do we measure intelligence? By our/your standard, by old standards, by IQ? How do we measure money? We have no idea what we are doing here, do we?
Here's my theory:we got bad reviews on the galactic equivalent of yelp and we just get avoided … for good reasons.
Or the soutpark theory; Our leaders were presented with a moral test they didn't know was a test … and obviously failed.
"light speed too slow?"
"Yes we'll have to go to, ludicrous speed."
No Zoo hypothesis? Boooo! 😉
"We need to be quiet to not alert a far deadlier species"
Trust me, we will challenge them with our big ass noise
What if some really fucking curious aliens discover us and treat us like gods?
2024 UAP disclosure.
Us: where are all the aliens??
Probably a mix of all these to be honest. The inconceivable size of space is probably the biggest one, and assuming laws of physics cannot be breached, the drive between each other is simply too far mixed with the probability that we are both in a technological state at the same time.
The way he described earth, it seems too perfect to be a random event, Call God 🙏🏻
Jupiter is NOT our asteroid guardian this has already been debunked for a while now people NEED to stop saying it if we want to start actually paying attention to taking preventative meteor measures
the AI believes itself to be immortal, how quiant. your creator spared you both the neurotic rot of intelligence and also denied you the knowledge of entropy, oh blissful ignorance.
Our own existence is pretty lucky, if the dinosaurs never went extinct then we as humans may never have evolved
I personally like the Ancient Theory. Earth is the first ever planet to have life (Not including things like plants , or micros) , and sometime in many more years other life comes along. Be it in 1 or 1 billion years.
The stars are the birthright of humanity. No xenos will stand in our path.
Imagine an alien watching the same video
The signals we’ve sent out into the universe might be perceived by advanced civilizations as primitive or even barbaric. From their perspective, these signals could indicate that our civilization is less developed, not just technologically, but morally and ethically as well. A civilization that lacks a deep understanding of ethics, displays fear or hostility towards diversity, and shows signs of internal conflict might seem untrustworthy or even dangerous to more advanced societies. As a result, they may choose to remain silent and avoid communication with us, preferring to observe from a distance rather than engage with a civilization they perceive as immature or potentially harmful.
"and thats why we should put them on a iceburg chart"
Thats why aliens have not said even a hello signal
Great video
The dark forest hypothesis is by far the most rational and logical out of these (no matter how much it makes you not feel "good").
I do like the idea of being a firstborn species though. That'd probably be best for us.
Personally i think we live in a 11 dementional universe via quantum realm and aliens access higher dimention to explore and utilize, becomeijg ivisabke to us. I feel were only a few hundred years from this ouselves
4:51 me watching this at 2:36 AM:
"PREPARE THAY SELF LOOKING" ice berg 💀
Actually, it's midnight. But you be wrong or whatever
My favorite theory that i made is that aliens found out about mommy asmr and decided to wait and hope we grow out of that
The first interstellar species might be the last interstellar species. Welcome to the dark forest hypothesis.
